Just watched the last Dr. Who with David Tennant

Oh it was Lala Ward that I loved. I'm sorry I didn't make it clear that she married Tom Baker not Dr. Who. :lmao:

Too funny! Although I always loved Tom Baker's Dr Who incarnation, I suppose Tom Baker (the actor) was perhaps the not the best person to marry.

Eh, but I always liked that the Romanas got to snark back at Who, on a comparative level, where the human companions were at a disadvantage. Donna was the new incarnation of snarking back, untill she got mind wiped. I hate what happened to Donna.

Would you want to discuss?

Oh yes, I agree. The only other companion that gave as good as she got was Leela. She didn't scream and yell for the Dr to come and help. I got to meet her at a Dr. Who convention once. She was so sweet. I was in line to get her autograph for two hours and she apologized to me for having to wait so long. I told her I was sorry that she had to sit there and sign for all those hours. We had a laugh at that.

I hated that Donna's mind got wiped. She was so strong and she had grown so much and then she had to go back to where she started.

Donna being snarky was part of her charm I think. While Jack would just flirt his way out of a crisis.

My favorite Doctor!!!:love::love::love::love:

I think that Davies deciding to have Donna get her mind erased was one of the poorest choices that could have been made...well, *that* and also having Rose be *happy* to settle for the Donna-Doctor...gack. Now Donna doesn't look up at the stars any more, she doesn't have the same bond with her Granddad and I actually think she's even worse than before...now Donna doesn't have the desire to soar, she just seems 'stoopid'.

agnes!
