I planned my first family Disney trip for over a year. We finally went this April 2009. It was the BEST trip my family has taken. NONE of us wanted to leave. We rented points and spent 4 nights at OKW and 3 at BC. We loved both resorts. Prior to going we bought points at BLT knowing that this was something we saw our family doing for many years to come. I spent a year reading through threads. I think I might be addicted at this point. Anyways, all the tips and suggestions I stored in my brain made our trip truly magical. We can not wait to go back. Thank you to all on the disboards!!!!

It is addictive! Glad you guys had such a good time. I don't think some realize how beneficial research is to having a great trip. I don't plan my trip to the hilt but I do some planning and think that the more knowledge you have the more informed decision you make on the fly while there.
