Just wanted to let everyone know what I have been up to!!

Well now that Christmas is finally over, I have been tryin to get caught up on reading the boards. I had the most wonderful 18 days in WDW and came home with one week to get evreything done for the holidays. My DH, DS and I really enjoyed doing the DIS-CON and are loking forward to it next year. We had a blast doing the thrill ride tour with Jaypd and family, Tiggersmom and family, Nurse Kim and other members that for the life of me I can't remember their names, but could pick them out of a line-up. The ToT was great Dean & Walt (dh) rode it I think 13 times straight, I on the other hand got in trouble for kind of doing the standing thing, but I swear I was holding on tight when I rode it with EpcotKilterFan & Figgy. (EKF will vow to that) A couple days later it was time to say good-bye to the DIS-CON and the next day Dean & Walt had to fly home, back to school and work. Now it is my turn to have fun without them, but I really did miss my peaceful time that my Dh and I have grown accustom to, there is always next year.
Pintrader came up and stayed with me until I left on the 15th, we had so much fun, except for the one day I was burning up with fever and just stayed in bed all day. Some days we went our seperate ways and some we did not, but it was great because then when would meet up we would talk about what we did. I spent a few hours with Tennisnut, we were on a secret mission ( can't tell ya it was a secret) but we had so many laughs doing it. Closed the Contemporary pin meet with Z&X's Dad, NHMickey and Parkhopper, must have been 2 in the morning by the time I got into the room. Celebrated Walt Disney's Birthday from the private party thrown by JudySue, her DH Mike and the Friends of Figment. Did Christmas in the City event with Perdita & Pongo. MVMCP every thursday night for 3 weeks, 1st with my family, next with Pintrader, Prndweller and mom, and the last night with friends I met a week before. (can you tell I really like this party) I met a LOT of GREAT people from the boards and really enjoyed myself. Wish I could have spent more time with some, but there is always the future. I traded for a lot of pins,but haven't had time to unpack them yet. There is one in particular that stands out. It made me very happy and brought a tears to my eyes when I got to hand it to my son Dean. It is the fall/winter 2000/2001 Champion PTP. Owe many thanks to a super board member who knows who they are, THANKS!! I know I am probably forgetting some one or something and I apolgize for that. Looking forward to my next trip and seeing what now have become good friends and meeting many new ones.

Just for that I was going to tell everybody how cute you looked dancing in England's courtyard, while listening to the Beatles, and how you cried like a baby when they played a George Harrison song. What was that dance again "The monkey" I think you called it.

And even after I gave part of my clam chowder bread bowl thing.

Fine don't mention me, its cold shoulder for you next year.

Thanks Ed for reminding me, after being there for 18 days, it became a little hard to remember everything.
Let's see.... there was the 1st night doing MVMCP and DH, DS and I were on a new quest....must find ~Kathie, finally found her to tell her that there is a new hat with Tink bobbing around on top just for adults. Off she went sprinkling pixie dust behind her on her mission to get her hat. Yes now there are 2 of us Tink fans out there sporting them.
Then there was the evening in Epcot with Raulinpinboy, Gotanypins, Pintrader and myself trying to decide if we are going to stand in the stand-by line for the Candlelight Processional....let's, let's not, let's,let's not, finally the decision is made....let's go to American Adventure, find a table, get something to eat and we can listen. We had a lot of fun trying to see what the food was in the dark.
I did spend one night off property, we went to Kathryn and Gary's. When we were driving there, I asked Kathryn if I see the Florida coast because the beaches are different all up the coast. We went to the Disney Vero Beach resort, very pretty and quiet. Then we finally get to their house, I say my hello's to all and start to walk to the back of the house and what do I find but a cat. But not the kitty that I would have the pleasure of seeing, since I miss mine so much. A little further back and there he is Bobby (yes that is cat's name). Well we seem to hit off in the beginning but, when night came it was a different story. He just was not too crazy about having a stranger in his house, he sat watch all night, to let me know that I was not allowed to get out my bed. We were all laughing about in the morning. Said our good-byes and back to the world we went for more fun.
If I remember anymore will let ya'll know.

Seems you like to close places down!! If I remember correctly while we were munching, talking and trading, they threw us out of Roaring Forks cause they were closing...............

Unfortunatly her Bobing Tink hat didn't bring me any luck. Lori plopped it on my head as I was going to make a trade for the DL LE square Tink pin..... alas, it wasn't meant to be.

Oh and one last thing....... Lori if you EVER show ANYONE the pic of us from MVMCP, I will have to hurt you!!!

Hey Lori you gonna tell them about Walt becoming a star? I had a front row seat(well kinda on the side with NurseKim) for his "dance" at the Adventurers Club. What fun that was.

It was great seeing you at WDW. I had a wonderful time with you at MGM on our "secret mission". Where did that rain come from anyway ? AND.....we know the sign for milk!
( remember?) It was so much fun being with an understanding "pin person" for awhile.

My non pin sister and I did the Keys to the Kingdom tour and the Backstage Safari. I thought fer sher she would give me her pins but NOOOOO....can you believe it????
Tucked away in some drawer somewhere..... .

Hope to see you again soon. I always chuckle when I remember you talking of Walt. I kept thinking Disney but no.........you were talking of your man.
Maybe someday I will get to meet the "other" Walt.
