Just got back and want to share an idea
that I did for my kids DS9 & DS11
Before we left, I printed off stationary at disneystationary.com ? I just googled disney stationary images and found some. I gave them a letter on the airplane that told them about how I was looking forward to this trip, About how I & hubby went there on our honeymoon, about the trip they took when they were little and didn't remember to much of and why I love Disney so much. I told them about how I love seeing the castle for the first time at the end of Main Street. And how we had a really long year and we all deserved this vacation!
Anyways, I then purchased colored lunch bags and decorated with sticker and wrote which kid and day on the outside. Inside I wrote a letter to each kid telling them where we were going that day, told them what I thought they would enjoy and special things for them to look for. I put in the bags small trinkets to represent the day. Green Army men, St. Patrick's day button (Raglan Road), Viking, Snowman, R2DT, etc.
They read the letters as they ate something for breakfast. It was a great way to start each day! The only thing I would do different was not writing them in cursive! Woops!
