I have never stayed anywhere other than POP (first time in April 2016) and will be staying at POP again in November 2016.

One morning my son and I have ADR at Polynesian Village Resort @ Kona Cafe for 8;15 am breakfast. We will be having Tonga Toast and Macadamia Pancake (first time trying since been reading it's a must).

Instead of both of us coming back to Pop, can he just ride bus from Poly to water park (TL) since park opens at 10 am? He will be going alone and I will be going to one of the park (I'm not interested in water park).

So just wanted to confirm (I'm assuming we can since Poly is a resort) that after our breakfast he can go directly to the waterpark and I can go directly to one of the WDW park?

Will it be easy to find resort bus stop like Pop?

Thank you

Yes, he can take the bus from Poly to TL. The bus stop is right in front of Lilo's Playhouse, to the left when you walk out of the front door of the Great Ceremonial House (where Kona is located).

I can't tell exactly what you're asking, but if your question is "do multiple buses go to poly" then yes. There are buses that go to both waterparks that will stop at the poly, and you can get to MK and Epcot through the monorail or AK/DHS via bus. In fact, if you son wants to go to blizzard beach, it's the same bus as the one that goes to animal kingdom.

Yeah. The bus stop is to the left of the Great Ceremonial House and you use the bus services the same way you do as Pop! If you're going to MK from there you can take the monorail or the resort boat at the back of the Poly - If you're going to Epcot you can take the monorail to TTC or walk to it from the Poly. HS or AK will require a bus trip.

Sorry if I'm not clear. What we need is transportation from poly to either TL (Blizzard is closed in November) or other parks. Thank you

Yes. Poly provides transportation to all the parks and waterparks.

How old is your son? I think there is a policy that any youth under 14 must be with an adult. Not sure how enforced that is though..

Yes. We have ridden the bus from other resorts other than our own after an ADR - you don't have to be a guest at that resort to use their buses.

Thank you all. This will make it easier for us so we don't have to go back to Pop. We can do our own thing right after our breakfast at Kona.

@toasterstrudel and @Alesia, my son is 28 so no problem about age. (just means I'm getting old!) :)

Here's a useful map of transport routes.
