Just upgraded to DDP from the Summer QS deal. What do you think of my ADRs?

So I started thinking and realized that I had already made 3 TS reservations, and was thinking about doing another, when I decided I might as well upgrade to the DDP at this point. I bumped the times for my TS (from lunch) to later than I had planned and will use the QS for breakfast/lunch and will still have the snacks and resort mug. The TS's will give us a break in the heat of the day. Still trying to get the Wishes Desert Part for arrival day, but not likely to happen.

Monday will be Mama Melrose Fantasmic package @ 3:25
Tuesday-Rainforest Cafe @ 5
Wednesday BOG lunch (QS) 2PM and Crystal Palace dinner @ 7PM
Thursday-Le Cellier @ 4:35PM (never been, so excited to try)

That will use our 5 TS and one of our QS

We love the Mama Melrose Fantasmic! package - great meal. You get an appetizer included (this is not the norm for the regular DDP, but part of the MM Fantasmic! package). We've had caesar salad, minestrone soup and calamari apps - all really good. We've always enjoyed our entrees (pastas, steak) but the dessert platter is just meh to us. That's ok. By the time we've had apps and meals, we're full anyway:-)
Rainforest is fun - we find the meals are huge!
BOG lunch is a great QS credit use. We've had the pot roast and quiche - enjoyed them both. Dining inside the castle is pretty amazing.
Crystal Palace is our favourite character meal. Our teen DD's still request this restaurant every trip! Le Cellier - be sure to try the pretzel bread and poutine .... mmmmmm. I think that you can get a smoothie for your beverage on the DDP at Le Cellier (I believe we did on our last trip).
Hope you get the Wishes Dessert Party. We've done it twice. Loved it the first time, but not so much the second time. I think it's something to try once though.
Hope you have a fun trip!

What was the cost for your upgrade? I don't think I've seen the math on this one.

For 5 nights it was around $500, which gave me the extra 5 TS, 5 snacks, and the refillable mugs (the original came with the 5 QS, in case I wasn't clear) for 2 adults and 1 child (9).

Thank you. My math mind doesn't go far enough to figure out the upgrade pp/pn, but it looks like you got about a $220 savings over paying for the regular DDP. Depending on how people eat and the availability of room discounts, the summer dining promo is definitely a "do the math" scenario for savings, unlike the traditional free dining which is usually the better discount for families in one room.
