Just Turned 21, Just Engaged, Just Married! A Trip FULL of Reasons to Celebrate!!

I feel the same way you guys do! Its all I think about too.. but then again I'm 2 days away! I have to keep myself busy not to go crazy.. and I just downloaded a new disney app on my phone- so this will keep me busy for a while!

It's the same thing for passport photos! They do NOT want you smiling. If I don't smile in pictures, I look angry. I seriously look like I'm about to go on a muderous rampage in my passport photo. I don't know how I'm allowed on planes!

:rotfl: You are too funny!! I would always look uncomfortable or distressed...or both which causes an expression implying constipation! Luckily, I was permitted to smile in my passport photo!! They still did the hair behind the shoulders thing, but my hair was layered so when I put my face at an appropriate angle (which was also allowed) some "accidentally" spilled in front of my shoulder. I LOVE my passport picture! I might just start carrying that around with me as my valid form of i.d.!

Whoops, we posted at the same time!!

Lucky you are only 2 days away!! These 11 are killing me!!

I need to uninstall and reinstall my Disney app...it won't stop "configuring"! I like to look at the wait times and get all excited!!

I hope your trip is magical!

At least yall can smile! With the new VA licenses, no one is allowed to smile. They want us to have a "neutral expression" for all the new security enhancements. :headache:

Is this a new thing now? Lol that's crazy! When I got my state id two years ago, they didn't tell me anything. I just stood there with my hair over my shoulder and smiled...same with my passport photo. I wonder if it depends on where you get the photo taken?

just trying to catch up all over the place...and laughing at the Jon Frieda hair products. I packed mine by my true 'weapons of choice' were a hat & a hair band!:lmao::lmao:

If you have time when you get to the MK go to the barbershop. They will charge you a little ($10??) to add paint streaks in the girls' hair but pixie dust is free. :woohoo:

That could have something to do with it. :confused3 I got my passport picture almost two years ago and was instructed not to smile. Maybe people in Jersey just want us to look tough in our pictures.

Ahhhhhhhh 10 days!!!!! I can't wait to do a single digit dance tomorrow!!! :yay: :woohoo:

I got my OVER 21 ID in 2008 and I was allowed to smile AND my hair was in front of my shoulders! Maybe it's a state by state thing? I know that for passports here they are veryyyyyy strict. Both of my parents had to have their pictures taken twice because they were smiling too much! My license picture actually isn't so bad...my first license though, that was a different story. I looked about 12, there was no way I looked old enough to drive  Kimmy, Lauren, we're gonna have to see each others IDs in WDW...I like to see ones from other states lol

In trip news, I'm definitely going out and buying those curling John Freida products Kimmy bought. I hope they work as well for me as they do for her!

Crazy! It must just depend on where you get it taken. Although...I have a feeling that the people taking the pictures enjoy making people look silly in them. That's what I would do...

"Sorry, ma'am. New state law wants all id's to have people pictures looking like they are caught mid-sneeze."

It's been my tradition to go to the MK barbershop every trip, but I think this will be the first where we don't make it in. :sad2:

Lol I could see it now, the TSA is hanging out at the bar after work. A guy with a Jersey accent walks in, they all start nudging each other and whispering "Don't mess with this guy! He's from Jersey and you KNOW they are tough there...I mean, have you seen their passports?!"

Yay yay yay! We will definitely show each other our id's! I'll bring my 16 year old one too!! I loved the picture in that one! It'll be great! I like seeing them from other states too! It'll be a good time. :goodvibes SO EXCITED!!

Can't believe you are so close to single digits!! WOOHOO!!!! Just gotta get through tonight!! Then you'll be doing the single digit dance! And we'll have 10 days, which isn't long at all--you could lose a guy in that many days!!

I don't have an accent. :snooty: At least, I don't think I do. :rotfl: I'm nothing like those Jersey Shore kids, I promise you that!

HAPPY HAPPY SINGLE DIGITS DAY TO KRISTEN!! :woohoo:

We are officially down to 9/10 days people...can you believe it? I can't...seems so surreal to me!! I'm thrilled!!

Lauren and I got our Mickey Mail yesterday finally! (Well...I got our Mickey Mail...and have to send hers out ASAP!!) We had some issues with it, Lauren and I both ended up calling...so I ended up with TEN ME tags hahaha. Apparently, not only does each toddler/infant need their own entire suitcase...we all need two. hahahaha. Too funny.

In other news, I had to spend $75 of my Disney money because I got a ticket...not even from a real cop, but those stupid cameras!! The only other time I've ever gotten a ticket was right before my first Disney trip. Apparently Disney excitement makes me a bad driver. :rotfl:

Speaking of Disney/automobile-related things, last night I was watching Toy Story (again). It was the first one, so from 1995. I noticed the gas prices when Andy's mom is filling up at Dinoco for the first time...$1.29. :scared1: Aw, the good ol' days...when I was 5. When gas be cheap when I was driving?

When I first got my license, it was only $10 to fill up my tank! I miss those days. :sad1:

Can't believe you're leaving so soon! I'm so jealous! I have a year and four months to go. I can't even book my trip yet! :(

Yayyyyy single digits for Kristen! Can't wait till you're all there tomorrow!

I hate those stupid cameras! When we took my car to visit family in Ohio, my dad's SpeedPass thing didn't work a couple of times for the tolls, so even though I wasn't the one driving, guess who got three tickets from two different states mailed to their house, complete with pictures of the car and license plate?! There WAS money on the passes and my dad was able to prove it so the tickets were dropped, and it was really more funny than anything b/c I kept on saying after they didn't work, "Dad, I know how this works. They're gonna mail ME tickets" and he kept on saying, "no, they won't" then switched it to, "they'll send the tickets to me, it's my SpeedPass that isn't working."

Oh, and last summer, I saw something I had never seen before in New Hampshire...speed signs that told you your speed and FLASHED like crazy when you were going way over it! The speed limit dropped like 10 miles right when I hit that, and I had already been going over the previous speed. Still not sure how I managed to dodge a ticket for that one. My boyfriend was freaking out more than I was :rotfl:

I've never seen those cameras... maybe I'll stay off the road til Friday morning.. :goodvibes I surely do not want a ticket and especially if it comes out of my disney money! ;)

It used to cost me like $20 to fill up my little, gas efficient Cobalt...now it is $40!! I hate it!!

I don't want to think about how long it'll be until my next trip after this one. :sad2:

Yayyyyy single digits for Kristen! Can't wait till you're all there tomorrow!

We have something similiar to a SpeedPass but it just sends a toll bill to your registered address and if you don't pay, then you get a ticket. Mine was for running a red light. Hate those!!

We have tons of the flashing speed signs here...I think they are mostly to just scare people into slowing down. I've never seen a cop by them or heard of anyone getting a ticket from them out here. They are fairly common and I always set them off!! :rotfl: One day they're going to get me because I won't be expecting anything!

I've never seen those cameras... maybe I'll stay off the road til Friday morning.. :goodvibes I surely do not want a ticket and especially if it comes out of my disney money! ;)

Yeah seriously, it's the worst. Especially because the cameras start flashing when they take your picture and you're just like "Oh crap, I don't want a ticket!" and it sucks because you KNOW it'll be coming! I wanted to pay it when I got back from my vacay too, but of course it's due the exact day before I leave!! Do you know how many margaritas from la cava I could've had with that $75?!

I need to apologize for not checking in earlier today, a momentous day for Chris and I, as we are at SINGLE DIGITS!!!!!!!!!!!!! 9 DAYS!!!!!!!!! :woohoo:  :yay: :cheer2: I was a little busy today doing something exciting.....buying a new car!!! I had a 2009 Mitsubishi Lancer and received something in the mail the other day for $1500 owner loyalty credit. So, I mosied in there today, not expecting much and walked out a few hours later to my brand new 2011 Lancer for just $10 more a month. It's so exciting because she's just beautiful and has way more options than my old one! The old car's name was Lacey and this is her younger, better looking cousin, Macy  I'm so excited though!! For two reasons now!!

Yayyyyy single digits for Kristen! Can't wait till you're all there tomorrow!

Girl, we have those flashing signs all over on Long Island! Mostly in school zones except they aren't cameras, they just are warnings I guess to try and make people slow down? I'm not sure if it's exactly the same in NH but that's how they are here lol Believe me I'd have like 900 tickets if they gave them! Yayyyy for Single Digits!!!!

I've never seen those cameras... maybe I'll stay off the road til Friday morning.. :goodvibes I surely do not want a ticket and especially if it comes out of my disney money! ;)

Noooooo tickets, you only have one more day!!!!!!!!!

Just checking in super fast to say that I'm so flippin' excited we're down to 10 days/9days. (SINGLE DIGITS ALREADY FOR KRISTEN! AND TOMORROW FOR US!)

I'm currently holding a sleeping baby in my arms, so I can't write too much... but I promise I'll be back later!

:dance3::banana::woohoo::cheer2:

Yay for single digits! :goodvibes

They just put up a whole bunch of traffic cameras in my area of Long Island. My parents now drive much more careful by those lights!

About the curly hair products, my Aunt recommended a John Freida collection spray and it did not work at all! I used it numerous times thinking that I just did it wrong, and it did not work. Maybe it is because my hair is super thick? I had straight hair when I was little, but the more older I get the wavier/curlier my hair gets. At night after I take a shower I put in mousee or curling mousse (whatever I have) and then some gel. This way the next morning before I go to school, my hair looks curly and not flattened out and frizzy from sleeping on it, I just put in more gell and away I go.

Oh I'm so excited for you girls! Please remind me to tell Kristen our stone number and remind her where it's at since she's seen it before, but I'd love for her to show you girls! And to send me a pic of it. :flower3:
