Just tried the Klondike LOW FAT Ice Cream Sandwiches

Can you tell I LOVE ice cream?? A couple of weeks ago I posted about how gross I thought the "Skinny Cow" ice cream sandwiches were and since then I've been trying to find better-tasting, low fat ones. I should add however, that once I officially started on Weight Watchers last week, the taste of those Skinny Cow ice cream sandwiches greatly improved!!! LOL

Since then, I have also tried the Weight Watchers LARGE, ROUND ice cream sandwiches, not to be confused with their smaller, rectangle shaped ones. The large round ones did taste a bit better than the Skinny Cow brand, but only slightly.

My niece told me about the Klondike brand LOW FAT ice cream sandwiches. These are square (naturally), and are an improvement over both the Skinny Cow AND WW brand, in my opinion. They also had them on sale today, BUY ONE GET ONE FREE, which is what prompted me to give them a try. Even at regular price, they are at least a dollar cheaper than Skinny Cow and WW brands. All of these come in a package of 6 ice cream sandwiches.

I do still want to give Skinny Cow ice cream sandwiches another chance though, because I think the other flavors will be better than the vanilla ones that I had.

All of them are 2 POINTS each on the Weight Watchers diet!

Those sound good! I love ice cream, too, but the low-fat versions I've tried just don't do it for me.

I'll have to check to see if we have the Klondike low fat bars here. For 2 points! What a deal!

(I'm doing the grocery shopping tomorrow after WW weigh-in. If it's a bad day, I may have NOTHING but veggies in the cart. )

I found the Klondike low fat bars, and you are SO right about them. I just had a chocolate one and DH had a vanilla. They are delicious, and don't taste "low-fat."

A very yummy and satisfying 2 point treat. Thank you *very much* for the recommendation!


It's a lot easier to stay on plan when we don't feel like we're treat-deprived!
