Hello all,

I had to fly into Orlando yesterday for a meeting in St. Augustine (Flights are much cheaper than JAX and only an hour longer drive). When returning to Orlando this afternoon. Me and my co-worker went to Downtown Disney and took a good walk around Saratoga Springs and toured the models in Congress Park. Very nice! As others have mentioned the resort is huge and really does remind me of a growing little village or community. All touches were top notch and the guide in the model rooms gave me some SSR pins to take back to the kids. Didn't feel that the open corridors were detracting to the resort. As mentioned before, all the decorative touches are very classy. Look forward to staying here some time.

If our DD didn't have finals this week the whole family would've gone with me :grouphug: We also Banked our points into our Feb 2005 use year so we would've been on non DVC lodgings. Oh well we may be moving our July 4 trip up to June anyway.

Peace,
G4L

I must admit (and I'm an SSR-owner), we liked SSR much more during our visit last week than we did last May. It is definitely growing on us.

Hi!

We ended our vacation yesterday with a tour of SSR. We were very impressed with it. It still has an unfinished look to it, since they're still building, but it's really lovely. Kiersten showed us around. My in-laws really liked it and they are thinking of buying in.

We enjoyed hearing about the resort and seeing it in person. I'd definitely stay there, especially if it was an adult-only trip. On those trips we concentrate our stay on Downtown and Epcot.
