This was our first pixie dust moment (of many) that day. while DD was being transformed into a princess the cast members from the World of Disney store came in and asked if DD would like to be the princess to open the store. They said that everyday they pick a princess from the bippity boppity boutique and the princess gets to take down the rope and announce that the store is open. they asked if we would be interested in doing that... uh YEAH she would LOVE it lol.
(sorry for the poor quality of these photos... my camera was really on the fritz this trip)
They all stand at the rope and introduce DD. her name, age, where we are from and then she got a certificate and an "honorary citizen of Walt Disney World" pin.
And then they took the rope down
and then DD stood up and said "NOW OPEN" (very loudly I might add lol) and then they had all the cast members lined up and DD got to march through like a parade and give her best princess wave to her adoring fans lol
That was very cool and very fun. so I'm really glad we didn't get a cancellation over at Magic Kingdom.
It really didn't take that long at BBB. I was pleasantly surprised about how fast they were. They told us that there is a little photo studio set up at guest services where the princesses can go and get their photos taken.
DD is always up for a photo shoot LOL
I am going to have this one put on a canvas. I love it
After that we were back in the van and heading back to the resort to catch our bus to MK.
We got to MK before 11 which isn't bad timing with BBB being at 9 am that day.
We knew this day was going to be ALL about the character interaction (like the other days weren't lol) so first character was Daisy
DD has a sensitivity to noise as I think I mentioned earlier... well I kid you not, the second DD got up to Daisy the "Move it Shake it Celebrate it" parade started lol. so of course the music was loud and I thought "Oh here we go." and I was about to dig out her "ear muscles" but daisy was a pro lol. DD put her hands on her ears as soon as the music started and then Daisy just put her hands out and started dancing. next thing you know, DD took daisys hands and was dancing along... oblivious to the noise. Thanks Daisy
We managed to convince her to skip pluto this time lol we were on restricted time (inlaws were coming in to town and were taking DD for the night) so we took our fast passes and went in to see mickey and Minnie
