Just snagged a standard view for New Year's!!!!!!!!

I just called this morning to make a reservation in a 1 bedroom for January 1-8. When the CM asked me what resort I wanted I said "anywhere" thinking my options were slim for New Year's at the 7 month window. She said "I have every resort available including all views at the Boardwalk." I am so excited, we are now able to stay 7 nights instead of 6 since the points are less!!! The only thing I am worried about is that I will have just had knee surgery when we go and those hallways are so long. But mostly I am just excited!!

Did you happen to check on the 31st. I want the 31st- 7th at BWV. I've already got it at VWL. I don't want to have to move on the 1st, so the only way I would take it would be for the whole time. Congrats on getting the reservation. We'll be there the same time as you.

There is nothing, for all views for the 31st. My sister works at Disney and gets 50% off hotel rooms so we are using her discount for that night since we couldn't get anything. All the other nights are available as of now in all views. I have to call back for the next 3 days to get the 5th, 6th, and 7th. It's a great time to be at Disney, my family will be doing the marathon for the 3rd year in a row!!
