Just say no to low cut jeans! (and muffin tops and cracks)

I think pretty much all Lee jeans are "mom jeans," though some are definitely worse than others.

:thumbsup2 ::yes:: Finally there is someone out there who likes the same type of jeans! That's what I LOVE - fit at the waist and tapered - and I wear Lee brand jeans. Unfortunately, after clicking on the OP's link, tapered only come in jeans with the side elastic waist (which is what I'm currently wearing) Whatever happened to their tapered jeans without the elastic side waist?

The 80's ended and two more decades happened. That's what happened to them. If you can't find something in stores anymore, it's because it's no longer in style.

:sad2: I knew it was just a matter of time.....

Elasticated jeans are DANGEROUS. It means you can fit into them without them ever feeling that bit too tight...that means your 'diet-time signal' is turned off:scared1:

Personally I wear Express low-rise jeans. They are low rise, but they don't slip down. I have hips so they sit nicely on the top of them.

Do they ship to Canada? I could not find that on the website? Thanks for the link OP:goodvibes

With my long torso, nothing else works. Regular jeans hit at an odd place in my torso. My low rise hit about an inch above my belly button and it feels perfect. I've yet to have trouble with a peekabo back either. :confused3

I have the same sort of length issues, but low-rise jeans are still a problem for me because they fit like I'm wearing a rubber bucket with legs. Low-rise jeans hit right below my belly button, but if I buy them large enough to fit over my butt, I've got about an 8-inch gap between the waistband of the jeans and the skin of my back. It's only gotten worse since I had my last child -- at 45 I just didn't have much elasticity left to my skin, and I've now got a whole lot extra up front. So .. the back is gaping and the front is baking a muffin -- it is NOT a good look, trust me.

About a year ago I found some jeans that I really liked at Bass Pro Shop, of all places. Their only fault was that they didn't come in a dark wash. Naturally, they discontinued them about 2 months after I found them. They have come out with some new styles recently, though, so I'm going back to check those out this weekend.

I don't care what anyone wears but the 3 guidelines that I think are important are-
1- You shouldn't have to get a bikini wax to wear your jeans.
2- Your jeans should not double as a push up bra.
3- You shouldn't have cleavage in your butt.

I'll have to disagree with item #1 because it's my business (and what the boys like);)

No misunderstanding. I'm just a fervent proponent of waxing. It puts $ in my pocket and a smile on the boys.

Okay now I get it. I agree with you. The only thing worse that your cooch hanging out of your jeans is a french braid coming over the top.:rotfl2:

I guess it depends if the boys pay you because they appreciate that you groom or the girls pay you for their grooming to keep their men happy.

Low cut jeans, like form fitting clothes, two piece bathing suits, and backless dresses look good on the right body. I have seen many people in all of them that look amazing and others that look like meaty disasters.

I think everyone should dress for their body type and not try to pull something off that looks bad at best and comical at worst.

I have to say ... I totally agree. My measurements are 34-30-35. Yes, that's a THIRTY in the middle. I'm shaped very straight with something like a size 6 chest, size 12 waist, and size 6 hips. Low-rise jeans were seriously among the greatest inventions of my adolescence. They were the first jeans that I ever felt that I could button without either coming up short for oxygen or having two giant bags of extra material under my rear end. Thank you for your compassion to those of us straight-no-thigh girls. :)

I can't believe we can say "cooch" on the Dis.:rotfl2:
