Just saw my first Amber Alert on the freeway

Very sad and very scary!! I don't know the specifics all I know is that we are on the lookout for a Dark Blue Hyndai. LP 4S_V I couldn't see it asll as I got all choked up and started to cry Please keep this child in your thoughts!!

Jason I agree with you... the problem is with that last little boy is that the mother wasn't the one stealing the kids it was some nut jobs I am sure she hired...

We saw our first Amber Alert on the drive down to Florida. It was for the little girl whose parents were murdered and she was stolen.

I wish there would never be a need for another Amber Alert.

Found out more info... looks like Jason was right.

Authorities are looking for a dark blue, two-door Hyundai, with California license plate number 4SHV526.

Authorities say 9-year-old Cierra Walden was kidnapped by her mother during a court supervised visit yesterday and they may be headed to Oregon.

That poor little girl. Even though it's her own parent, she must be scared.

I agree Jason. It's like calling the FBI to come write someone a ticket for speeding. If a parent steals their own child from the custodial parent, let the police that normally handle cases like that handle it. They shouldn't call in a specialized team that might be needed at any time for a child that is kidnapped/etc. by a stranger.
