Just for the heck of it I rechecked my rates for an SUV for 1/7 to 1/12 at National.com. I put in same codes all around and it came up $100 less:banana:   $239 total:thumbsup2

Double check your ressies.

I had a similar situation with National earlier today. Mine was a Compact from 3-Feb to 7-Feb using the ND41 ($20 off) coupon and the Alaska Air Frequent Flier Contract Id (Delta Skymiles id was the same price too) and knocked off around $50. I'm down to $157 and dropping. I figure that in another few weeks, they'll be paying me to take the car!

Slightly OT, but this is a reminder that this same principle applies to airfares. If you've already booked your flights and the fares drop afterwards, you can request to have credits or vouchers for the difference.

I know that many DISers regularly check their rental car rates. You may also be able to save on your airfare too. Our plane tickets for our trip in March dropped $115 since I first booked them at the end of November and I have vouchers for the difference that we can apply to our next trip to WDW! :) There are details in the Booking Air thread if anyone wants to discuss.
