Just got back from our trip. Ate at Garden Grill, Ohana (breakfast), Tutto Italia, Le Cellier, and Coral Reef. Questions?

Hope you had a great trip. How was the Breakfast at Ohana? We have a ADR for Breakfast next month and have never been before. How was the character interaction? Thanks.:)

Would love to hear about Garden Grill, we have an ADR there next month.

Could you give me your opinion on Garden Grill? We're going for the first time on our next trip - because my DS loves that it rotates and Chip and Dale are there. Thanks!

Hope you had a great trip!:goodvibes

I have a couple of GG questions. What dessert did you have, and was it rotating? (it was broken when I was there in Dec.)

For those wondering Garden Grill to me is the best meal on property, and the best character interaction.

How was Tutto? I'm considering it for our trip next year but have heard it's overpriced for what you get so I'm just wondering what you thought of it.

Ohana breakfast is our favorite meal. Good food and great character interactions. We really always enjoy it!

GG was also better than expected. We found the turkey a little dry, but otherwise, the food was great. Dessert was blueberry pie in a skillet- one of the best desserts we had! Characters were also great there! We had missed Chip the first time around, but got him before we left. And yes, it was rotating!

Tutto was another of our favorites. Food was excellent, but arrived VERY fast- we were served about 5 minutes after we ordered. It was hot and tasted good, but had us wondering... We were on the DDP, so we were satisfied, but if you are paying cash, it might not be enough for what you pay.

Coral Reef was OK. DH and I both had some stomach upset the following day- we think his steak, which we shared, was a bit rarer than it should have been. The Chocolate Wave was great, though! Also, the server there was not as friendly as the others we had during the week.

What was the kids selection for Garden Grill? If you have gone to a previous trip to LLT...how do you compare to Garden Grill with regards to the food selection?

I have not been to LTT, so cannot compare- sorry! The children had the option of what the adults ate, or the usual chicken nuggets, etc. that they get everywhere...

LTT doesn't have a kids option. The only differences I've found between the
two is LTT only offers turkey and GG has steak, turkey, fish, and kids chicken nuggets (the processed kind) the mashed potatos are the same.

The Mac & cheese at LTT is stoffers the mac and cheese at GG is Disney's.

The veggies at GG are seasonal (so you never really know what you get, could be green beans could be broccolinni, could be something else) at LTT it's always green beans

Dessert for kids at GG is a create your own cupcake thing. LTT is apple cobbler

I honestly like GG's food more. Kids can eat anything off the adult plates, and you can always request more. Also if you're adults only you can request a kids plate or parts of it.

Just curious...when Garden Grill rotates around, what do you see on the "other side"? :confused3

Not the OP, but you see the Living with the Land attraction and the greenhouse areas that are behind it. :goodvibes

There are 2 murals. and 2 areas where you look into the Living with the Land ride. When we went in December we were stuck looking at the prairie scene the entire meal, which isn't the most fun, but at least it wasn't looking out at people the entire time. (I get a little freaked out by people watching me eat. I have some issues)

Yes- the scenery from Living with the Land. My son has recently been obsessed with thunderstorms, so was constantly looking over at the part with the thunderstorm. Then kept talking about the "person" in the house (there is one, actually!) It kept him entertained when the characters were not there, anyway!:confused3

I have ADR's in Sept for lunch at Tutto and dinner at Garden Grill on the same day. I really only want to eat at one but can't decide which one. We are a party of 10 (5 adults, 3 teens and an 8 and 11 year old). I have never eaten at either and would love some advice.

I thought the food at both was great. Honestly, it would depend on what you are looking for.

Tutto has some classic Italian (lasagna and spaghetti and meatballs) and some different dishes that are more from Italy than Olive Garden- I had butternut squash tortelli with sage butter, for example.

GG is a character meal. The fish, turkey, and steak were good, dessert was awesome (blueberry skillet pie!) and the character interaction was worth it as well. It is family style and entertaining. Tutto is more "refined" and no characters.

Like I said, depends on what you are looking for in a dining experience- restaurant or character meal... either would be fine with all age groups in my opinion.
