I just got back Sunday from a trip to the world. The weather was of course HOT HOT HOT. It was hot from the time we arrived in the morning. We survived by taking long afternoon breaks. It only rained a few times and never for very long. You could pretty much see the rain coming so we made sure we were indoors by the time the rain started and hung around there until it stopped.

The crowds weren't too terrible. Considering we usually go during the summer or Christmas we are used to it. The longest I saw was SM at 90 mins. Most of the top attractions were around 60 mins. I'm sure at some points TSM and Soarin' were above that. As long as you take advantage of fastpasses you should be ok. The longest we waited was probably 10 mins, and we did just about everything and some things twice. We didn't see any tour groups so it must be true that they are there only til the end of July.

If anyone has any specific questions let me know. Now time to work on my trip report. :surfweb:

Welcome home! Any great WDW tips you can share with us?

What resort did you stay at ?

Any great places to eat which you may recommend ?

Ah Disney themed mug...great idea :thumbsup2

We actually used my parents time share and stayed at Vistana Resort. It’s nice to have all the extra space. It sleeps all 8 of us comfortably, has 2 baths and 2 kitchens, and is about as close to Disney property as you can get. Its right near Vista Way if you are familiar with where some of the CPs stay.

It was our first time eating at Le Cellier and it was absolutely fantastic, well except the whole part of another family being seated in our place but I will save that for my TR.

We also ate at Chef Mickey's. I'd been there before however this time we made the latest reservation for breakfast so we were able to go to MK hit up the big rides with no wait and then head over for a huge breakfast. Then we went back to the room for a rest. It worked out great. I figured none of us could eat that much at 7:00 AM anyways.

I also setup a surprise Illuminations Cruise for my family. They were all so excited to find out what we were doing. It was a beautiful end to a wonderful trip. Its quite pricey for what you get but I think its worth doing at least once.

Is it still very hot at night or does it get chillier in the evening?

Most of the nights we were there it was still hot at night. A few were a little more comfortable but not chilly by any means. We still wore tank tops and shorts and were not cold at all. If you are headed there soon have a great trip :earsboy:
