Hey guys, we just got back yesterday from a week long stay at WDW. This was a first visit for everyone in our party.

The cast: Me 25:yay: planner of the group, DH 28 :cool2: along for the ride, Mom 45, Stepdad 40, DD 7princess: , DS 5pirate: , DS 2:) .

Day 1
We were set to leave on Saturday May 26, 2007. We flew out of GSP airport at 10:40 am. The wait in the airport was not as bad as I thought it was going to be. We were flying allegiant air into St. Petersburg Intl airport. We landed at 12pm and DH got in line to get our rental car while the rest of us waited on the luggage. We got all the luggage loaded into the car and then we stopped to eat at the first place we saw which just happened to be Mc Donald's. Not my favorite but the kids were starving. After lunch we set off toward DW. We arrived about 3pm and checked in. There was no wait for check in and we headed to our rooms. We got two rooms that were connecting at All Star Music. We were in the jazz building on the bottom floor facing the pool area. How great is that. We were so excited and thanking our Travel Agent. We then decided to unpack everything and go to the food court to get a snack. When we got to the register to pay with or dining plan it said that we didn't have the dining plan. The lady at the register didn't speak very good english and we didn't know what to do. The kids had already started eating their ice creams and we didn't want to pay out of pocket. So my DH went to the front desk to figure out what was wrong while everyone else stayed in the food court eating their snack that we had yet to pay for. Anyway DH and the clerk at the front desk got everthing worked out and the had to issue us new cards. For our inconveince they gave us a $25 credit that we could use, so that was okay. DH returned and we payed for our snacks. We then took the kids swimming for a little while and then we returned to the Food court to eat dinner. DH and I both had a double cheeseburger and the kids had chicken nuggets. We then went to bed early to get ready for our first day in the parks the next day. We were headed for Magic Kingdom the next morning. pixiedust:

Sounds like a good start to your trip! We are flying Allegiant in July - our first time, but I have heard nice things about the Sanford airport.

Day 2: Magic Kingdom

Today we were headed to Magic Kingdom for rope drop. We arrived at the front gates at about 8:30 am and we were the first people in line to enter the Magic Kingdom. We didn't really get to see the opening ceremony because we were almost under the bridge. That was okay with us because we would be back here on Wednesday and we would see it then. As soon as the MK opened we took off running to Fantasyland. We were the first group to ride Dumbo. We then rode: Winnie the Pooh, Peter Pan, Cinderella's Carousel, It's a Small world, Mad Tea Party, and Mickey's Philharmagic. At this time it was about 10:30am. We decided to head to Frontierland. We got a FP for Big Thunder Mtn. and we decided to ride the Railroad. When we got back to frontierland we got a snack at the McDonald's. We then went back and used our FP. It was now about 1:00pm and we decided to head to Cinderella's Royal Table for our 1:25 reservation. We had to wait in line for about 10 minutes to have our pictures made with Cinderella. As soon as our picture was made they called our name to go upstairs to eat. The food was okay and the atmosphere was great. My daughter was in heaven. After we ate we decided to use our priority pass that a cast member had given us at Mickey's Philharmagic because we had to leave during the program because my two year old had to go potty. We decided to use it to ride Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin. We then left MK and went to our room to rest. We were all hot and exhausted. At around 6pm we left again and headed to MGM. When we got here it was not that crowded. We first saw the Muppet 3D show, and then we went to Honey I Shrunk the kids. We then went and ate at Woody's Pizza Planet. It was delicious. Then we got in line for The Little Mermaid show which was wonderful and then we called it a night and went back to our room. Tomorrow we are off to Epcot. Stay tuned!!!:dance3:

Epcot:
This morning we had an ADR at Chef Mickey's at 9:30. We got on a bus to MK and then rode the monorail to the Contemporary Resort. We arrived at about 9 am an we were called to sit down almost immediatly. The food was delicious and there was a lot to choose from. This was my kids favorite meal of the whole trip. They ate tons of Mickey shaped waffles and the characters were wonderful. We went so fast yesterday at MK that this was our first time seeing Mickey since we arrived in DW. After breakfast we got on the monorail and went to Epcot. Since we arrived late everything was already crowded. We went straight to Soarin and got FP for this. We then rode the Living Land Boat ride and then we went to watch the Circle of Life show. It was nice because it was in the air conditioner. We then walked over to Nemo but the line said 45 min. and there was no way my kids would wait that long in the hot sun. We had our pictures made instead in front of Nemo and friends. We then walked over and rode the Imagination with Figment ride. It was pretty cool and we then walked inside and emailed a picture of us home to my MIL. Then we walked towards The Worldshowcase and got the kids some fries at the mcdonald's for snack. We decided that it had been a long hot day and the place was really crowded so we would get a FP for Mission Space and go back to the room. After a nap we returned to Epcot and rode Mission Space and Soarin without a wait. We then had dinner at the Electric Umbrella. It was okay, a hamburger place and the kids had chicken nuggets. We then decided to start walking toward Germany to find our seats for Illuminations. The show was great and the kids loved it. I got kind of upset because we sat and saved our spots for 45 minutes and some people decided to walk up right when the show started and tried to walk right in front of us. I was not happy, and they decided to move. When the show was over we sat for awhile and let the crowd then out and then we walked to the bus stop. We had to wait awhile for a bus because it was crowded. We then got to our room and settled down for bed. Tomorrow we are having an easy day at Downtown Disney and Blizzard Beach. Stay Tuned!!! :cheer2:

Hope to hear about Downtown Disney and Blizzard Beach, it has been almost a month. Hope you come back.
