Just Returned - Norovirus?!?!?!

Hey!

We just returned from Disney the other day and I think my son may have picked up Norovirus/Norwalk. We stayed from the 14th to the 19th. On our way home (we drove in an RV) of the 19th my son threw up. We thought it was just car sickness. Then on the 20th it really hit and we are now on our 3rd day with no end in sight. Poor kid.

We stayed at Camp Wilderness in our RV, visited the parks, but also did a Character Breakfast at the Beach Club resort.

Anyone else get sick after a recent trip?!

So sorry your son is sick! We returned 4/7 (Sunday) from a WDW Easter trip. Tuesday night, my DD was violently sick, with it coming from both ends, for 3 days. It was terrible! She usually bounces back from illness pretty quickly, but this one had her down for around 5 days, before she really got her appetite back. Lots of germs around the World, for sure! Hope you DS is better soon.

I'm sorry We got it when we were there in December and it was miserable. But it's not just Disney... it's everywhere right now. Ive heard it described as one of the most contagious diseases there is. I hope your son feels better soon!

This is not fun!!!! LOL....Day 4 and showing some progress, but not entirely.

If it is everywhere, I wish there would have been notices about it, as well as additional antibacterial hand wash areas. Sometimes just the reminder coupled with the stations is enough for people to take a second and use them....and it would cause the outbreak to lessen....whenever we see a place with a dispenser, we use them...

This probably doesn't apply to your situation, but there were 8 of us there in October, and 5 of us became very ill. Hope things continue to improve in your household.
