Just got back last night from a wonderful stay in the World. I did a split stay...stayed 4 nights at WL woodsview and 3 nights at BWI.
WL: Absolutely wonderful! The lobby is huge and breathtaking. The service was outstanding. The woodsview room was perfect. I was on the fourth floor and just took the elevator down to either go right to the pool or go left to the bus stop. It was very convenient. The room was clean and beds were comfortable. I did not hear any noises from neighbors, showers, toilets...etc. I had to call for a refrigerator, and the staff delivered one in about 5 minutes. The boat to MK was quick, only about 20 minutes at the most. The buses were ran frequently and there were no problems. I was sorry to leave the resort to transfer to BWI. Anyway, the transfer went flawless. I called bell services and within ten minutes they were up to the room to take the luggage. I was told the luggage would be delivered to the new resort after 1pm. All of the staff were outstanding. Oh yeah, room service was great! The delivered within 15 minutes of placing the order and the hot wings are delicious.
BWI: I had reserved a water view room, upon check in they upgraded us to the conceirge! We were sprinkled with pixie dust! I was shocked, but realized I gave up my water view. Not a problem, it was nice to have soda's and snacks available. The room was big and we had a king size bed. The tv was smaller than the WL....BWI tv was 20" and WL was about 24" or 27". The walls seemed a little thinner than WL, I don't know why but I heard showers and the occasional toilet flush. All in all it was a nice resort and located within walking distance of Epcot and MGM.
Final thoughts: DH and I will definitely return to WL, but probably will not go back to BWI. Not because of the resort itself, but I want to try other resorts in that location.
