We just got back from Pop Century. We had a great time. We were there for 7 nights. Any questions, I would be glad to answer.

Chris, glad you had a wonderful time at Pop Century. We will be there in july and are very much looking forward to it. We have always stayed at moderates in the past but decided to check out the new kid on the block this go-round:bounce: How efficient did you find the buses and their capacities?

the buses ran pretty good. the longest we had to wait was about 10 minutes. Most of the time there were people standing in the bus. It wasn't too bad. If you are going in the summer, it might be more crowded.

on the positive side of things, a couple of times we were walking to get the bus and realized it was getting ready to leave. We then waved at the bus and it stopped and waited for us. Very nice and considerate drivers.

I was just curious about what the overall theme was. Like are the colors dark in the rooms or orangish and pink like the outside of the buildings I have seen in their pamphlets?

If you have ever been to the All Stars is their food court like theirs at all? And if not did their food court have a variety of things like pancakes, pizza, cereal, etc.?

Also, would you stay there again as opposed to at a moderate?

Thanks so much!!!! I am glad you had a great time!

the rooms are orangish and brown. pretty colorful. I would absolutely stay here again. But if I had enough money to stay at a moderate, I would.

The food court was okay. They had 4 stations. you can check out the lunch/dinner menu at allears.net under dining. The breakfast stations had breakfast sandwiches, pancakes, choc chip pancakes, eggs, bacon ,sausages, pastries, donuts, fruit, beverages- all kinds, cereal and bananas. Prices were very good. We always had money left over to spend on other stuff.

I am not sure on the menu at the all stars, but you can also check that out at the website mentioned above.

Hope you had a wonderful vac full of Disney magic!! Did they happen to have ::MickeyMo waffles with strawberry topping in the mornings?!? Thanks!

Chris, tks for the review and again, glad you had a wonderful time;)

Can't wait to stay there in October. Have you any recommendations for a nice room - we like non smoking and a high floor - I presume there are elevators? We have not booked the preferred room option.

Oh, and which is the best pool for theming?

Thanks,

Sue

Planning to take our family including grandma/grandpa in August.
Do you recall if there are benches near the pop jets? My daughter will love these.

Did they allow you to check in early? How early?:crowded:

How far along is the construction across the lake? and was it a noise or eyesore issue?

Thanks for being willing to share.

Leaving in a few days cant wait Quick question, did you find the pool to be overcrowded? When we were at the All Stars a couple of years ago the main pool got quite crowded.

not busy at all. there's 3 pools plus your kiddie pool. the legendary section is not an eyesore to me. it's just bldgs unfinished bldgs and lands. no biggie.

we really enjoyed our stay there, i just wished that they have a hot tub.

Yes, there are benches near the pop jets--just across the sidewalk. Of course the kids run back and forth from from the pop jets to their waiting (exhausted) parents and sometimes run into people walking on the sidewalk to and from the food court, but it's no big deal. My son really liked the pop jet area.

T&B
