I just returned from the Poly Conceirge and POFQ so feel free to ask any questions.

Had a blast...the poly is my new favorite hotel...I dont know if I can stay at any other deluxe again....I liked it that much.

If your interested check out my trip reports, I will be posting the installments throughout the week...it was a fun trip...wish i was still there, can't wait to start planning the next trip.

Jungle Josh

I asked someone already but it doesn't hurt to ask again. I'm thinking of concierge at the Poly next year, is it worth it?

Thanks...

In one word....YES. We have enjoyed the service on the concierge level at the Polynesian many times and it is wonderful. I can't say enough about it. If you have any questions or want to research the Polynesian, go to Tikiman's website, one of the best sites on the Polynesian... you can find out everything in one place

The best of luck

Glad to hear you had such a great trip. We will be headed to Poly GVC 11/2-11/9 and just can't wait!! What view did you have? What floor? Did you get to enjoy the lounge offerings? Any special tips on making the most? How was check-in?

Sorry for so many questions...I am just obsessed with hearing anything Poly since this will be our first time staying there!

Thanks for any info!

We will be staying Poly concierge next Tuesday! Not only is it our 1st visit to the Poly, but our 1st concierge stay at any deluxe!

PS. What is the lastest you can get drinks at the concierge lounge?

Glad you discovered the magic of the Polynesian, Jungle Skipper. Concierge there is pretty sweet isn't it. Sounds like a wonderful stay.

We were in Poly Lagoon View Concierge, 3rd floor, room 3505...ABSOLUTLY AMAZING VIEW! totally unobstructed view of the castle, GF to the left, CR to the right....absolulty amazing...i miss that view already.

The lounge offerings were great...everynight something different..everything from BBQ ribs to hot wings to sushi, some wonderful desserts as well.

Sodas were always available, 24/7....after 10 pm they didn't refill the barrel, so if someone raided the sodas..you were left with slim pickings (only happened one night). You could get alcohol until 10pm.

I say, make sure you eat breakfast, call the desk if you need ANYTHING, use the room to relax mid day if you want, its a nice break from the hectic crowds. The beach is the perfect spot to watch the fireworks and water parade.

Personally, the Poly is my new favorite resort..i don't know if i can ever stay anywhere else ::yes::

Sigh..i wanna go back...anyone want t oroad trip with me? :hyper:
