Just Returned from Disney Magic

What is up with that??!? You had every right to be peeved. I'll cut a lot of slack in the name of "cultural differences" but moving your daughter is a bit bizarre. Did you mention it on the comment card or were you so puzzled by the whole thing you just wanted to move on?

I was just reading another thread about whether or not to cancel due to the continued illnesses on board. Several people who were ill voiced some strong opinions. Did you notice any problems with illness? I intend to go as planned and take our chances. I did make my teenage children particpate in an updated course in handwashing (much to their dismay!) We leave next week and I just wondered if you noticed any problem? Thanks for the feedback!

What happens after they check themselves out. It is a big ship worried that if I let my 10 year old dd check herself out we won't be able to find each other.

Maude,

We let our DD9 check herself out providing she Radio us BEFORE leaving the club AND come directly to our location before venturing off anywhere else. One mistake, one "I tried but couldn't reach you." the privledge was to be suspended. Worked out great. One note> On a previous cruise, my DS, then 11 was supposed to have the club counselor page us before leaving. NEVER Happened. Not once! They really push for the 10-12 yo to check themselves in and out. Just lay down some very simple to follow rules. I'm sure she'll be fine.

Tracy
