Just rented "The Family Stone"

I like it OK although I, too, expected it to be more of a comedy. I hate depressing movies and avoid anything to do with sickness and dying. I never would have watched this movie had I known. However, it did have some funny parts and was fairly entertaining. And at least I didn't have to go online to find out what the hell it was about like I had to do for the last 2 we rented.
