I was late in getting mine to the post office and sent it off on April 15, 2003 for our May 30 departure.
I am happy to report that I received both lanyards already! One came last week and the other came yesterday. The velcro is narrow, but Im sure Kellogg doesnt want to be sued if the unfortunate should happen, so they made sure it would break away if the wind blew on it.
I will "fix" mine too but not too secure "just in case".
