Just received info. on Stormalong Bay renovations

Wondered if anyone else received the letter regarding refurbishment of Stormalong Bay. The work is being done between January 3 and February 25, 2005 and of course, we'll be there Feb 9 - 19th!!!

The letter states that the Flying Jib slide will be unavailable at this time.

I called member services today to find out more and I was told that the sandy area where the little ones play as well as the slide for the little ones will still be available during this time.

That was my main concern since we have a 5 and 6 year old.

Just wanted to pass that along to anyone who didn't receive the news.

Thanks, I was wondering about the shipwreck pool area (small slide). I bummed about the rehab while we are there. I got the letter last night as well. I knew it was coming, just hoped they would finish up earlier before our vacation. LOL! The lazy river should be open then as well. Not good for the 5-6 yo set but you might enjoy it.
