Just received email re: availability of Canon 2S IS instructional book/CD

I have had both for my Nikon 995, VERY helpful. They have many available for all sorts of cameras and basic concepts.

Thanks for that link Dan! I just ordered my S2 IS this week! I'll definetly benefit from this I'm sure!
Did you order just the books for your Nikon or the book and the CD??? Do you have to have the short courses in addition to the book on the specific camera to get the full benefit??? Can you please just tell me a little more about this?

I did order both book and CD. And I have, in the past, only ordered for one previous camera, a Nikon. I thought the book was great, really helped get a lot out of the camera, went in to all the functions in a very east to understand approach. I think it will be good.

I acutally just came over here to see if this book was out. After reading on these boards (but not posting) I broke down and bought this camera as a "supplement" to my Rebel. (I wanted something with simular features but SMALLER) This appears to be a great camera, but I need the help!
