We just got the email from Member services this week that a trade request we had made last February came thru. We have a 1 bedroom from November 9 - 16, 2014.
Has anyone made this trade that could tell me alittle about Kaanapali Beach Club. I think it used to be an Embassy Suite so hoping it is nice.

Thanks for any input!

We stayed there a few years back, it was nice. Breakfast area comes with an ocean view and food was better than average for the typical embassy suites. Pool was average, but they said they had improvements planned. I believe they had a miniature golf course. We had a one bedroom, lots of space and everything was in good condition.

Never stayed there, but it looked nice when we walked by it. It's one a stretch of very attractive hotels.

Haven't stayed at that particular resort, but kaanapali beach is amazing. After living in Hawaii for 5 years and traveling between all the islands Maui, and specifically that area is my favorite part of Hawaii

We stayed there a few yrs ago when it was an Embassy resort. Mostly 1 BR units with a mini kitchen. At the time they were very aggressive about giving exchangers the worst views and trying to upsell them to a better view but the management has changed since then. While it's on Kaanapali beach, it's not on the same portion as the Whalers village so one must drive to there. It's rated 8.28 on TUG but it's the best RCI resort in the area. There's a smaller grocery store right across the street. 150 points I presume.
