I just sat here looking at the point charts for the Bungalows at PVB and can honestly say that the only thing it made me think of buying is resale points somewhere else!

When I realized that we could book 2 Grand Villas at OKW for Premier week and STILL have more than 200 points left for less than the price of booking one bungalow for the same week, I knew for sure that we are not the audience that PVB is being built for. I think the new best kept secret is going to be to go back to the old resorts where you get room to spread out a bit and reasonable nightly point costs. If we want to spend Ritz money, we'll spend it at the Ritz...

I agree.. I would love to try all of the resorts at least once but since my husband refuses to do split stays it doesn't seem likely, I refuse to stay at the point heavy resorts for more than 2 nights... Love how far our points go at our favorite resort OKW!

I may stay at the bungalows for a night or two some day just to experience it.

You're not cheap, just being smart. ;) You'll be able to stay at the Poly with your resale points.

Honestly I think this latest DVC offering will be spurring more resale contracts than actual Poly sales, at least from existing DVC members.

It may also be an uber-calculated move to have peeps buy direct to get a big enough contract to book a full week. I'm probably being paranoid, though.

I think they'll use them like they do the castle room, for special contests and such if they aren't consistently booked full.

We ALWAYS stay in a 2BR with our 2 older sons, except when it is just DH and I! IMO, the point charts are CRAZY for a 2 BR! Very disappointed!:sad2:

We will however try to get a studio at 7 months! Enjoy staying at all the different resorts!:) Looking forward to trying for a studio this December!:thumbsup2

You are not cheap! You just joined me in the twilight zone.

I wouldn't call you cheap. As someone who only OWNS 250 pts. I'd say you're realistic. Those point charts are INSANE!! We can usually spread our points out for 14 nights of vacation if we plan carefully so the idea of only getting TWO nights makes me literally roll my eyes. :rolleyes1
