We just renewed our AP's for another year. Ours were expiring on December 5th and we were at DTD so we stopped by Guest Services on the West Side. Very quick transaction and we were back in our car heading home in just about 10 minutes.

Anyway, just wanted to say that the question that comes up every time Disney raises prices or takes things away, "is it worth the price of admission?" is still being answered in the affirmative at this household.

I'm taking a few months off from the parks. I'll renew my AP sometime in 2015 when I get re inspired.

You touch on an interesting point. There are many complaints about Disney - from ticket prices to dwindling customer service to the Fast Pass system - but everyone keeps going. I hear constant threats about "taking a break" or leaving altogether but these threats never seem to pan out.

I will continue to renew my annual pass as well. I still have major concerns about cast member staffing though but plan on voicing them to guest services whenever an issue arises. :thumbsup2

Us too...with the constant construction, the FP+ debacle, the obvious money grabs, dwindling customer service, and lack of respect for AP holders (all my perspectives of course) we decided to give our theme park dollars to Universal this year for the first time ever...still love Disney, will still visit DTD and the resorts, and will prob visit the parks in 2015 if/when they offer the super discounted FL resident tickets but will prob not get APs again until at least 2016/2017 when Avatar (plus whatever ends up happening in the Studios) begins to open

We're planning a move to Central Florida in about 2 1/2 years and the AP is definitely in the plans once we get down there.

I'm curious, is everyone on this thread a Fl resident? I haven't figured out the break-even point for a non resident buying an AP but it would be interesting...also another excuse for multiple trips throughout the year :)

I'm taking a break from WDW, and so far have kept to it. No desire to go. Fortunately, there's still Disneyland to fill my Disney cravings.
