I also believe you made the right choice! I recently bought 160 points at BLT for 90/pt. In a few years we'll need more points but that's what I could pay cash for now so that's what I bought now.

I think you made a wise decision. Continue to search the DVC boards for re-sale related topics. Also, find the ROFR (right of first refusal) thread located on the Purchasing DVC forum. This thread will give you an idea of average going rates that contracts are sneaking through the ROFR process, and also which home resorts Disney seems to be buying back at present (at certain times, Disney seems to target specific resorts that they wish to buy back more so than others). Ask lots of questions, and make sure you understand the importance of Use Year, booking windows, and banking/borrowing windows. You have all of the information that you need to make an informed decision right here at your disposal. Best of luck!
