Ugh, that sucks that you were REALLY not feeling good, but I'm glad you made the most of it at AK! We're giving that park another shot on our upcoming trips, but just planning to be there for a few hours or maybe a half-day. I'm hoping it begins to grow on us, because everyone seems to love AK and I just don't get it!
I didn't get AK for a while, but once I started really appreciating the beauty and detail they put into that park, I learned to love it. It's still my least favorite, but I do love it! Especially the Asia area, it's beautiful!
Just got all caught up. We've never been to Tony's, but have heard negative reviews of it and that dirt-lasagna sounds awful! It's really too bad, since Lady and the Tramp is my favorite Disney movie and I love Italian food. Oh, well.
Glad you enjoyed your sleigh ride. Most of our pictures and video ended up quite blurry too! It's really amazing how all-out people go in their decorating!
Love the beautiful, blue castle!
I'm glad you were able to get a lot done, even though you were sick. That lack-of-sleep night sounds horrible, though. I hope you get a good nap.
Tony's is such a cute idea, but I think they need to fix it a little...get a new chef, change the menu a little, something! I mean, my chicken was good, but there's no excuse for that lasagna! Even a frozen one would have been better!
The sleigh ride was awesome, I'd love to do it again!
It was pretty awful not being able to sleep! Good thing I had lots of Advil and cough drops to keep me going throughout the day!
I've only been to Tony's once and, honestly, the only thing I didn't like about it was the garlic bread, which was rock hard

It was pretty good, if I remember correctly. I went for lunch and had the chicken parmigiana.
The chicken parm was really good, I ate all of mine! But Brandon's lasagna was seriously horrendous!

It's too bad, because we really liked it on our Disneymoon!
Your EE pictures look professional!!

The clouds look crazy too!!
I always find new things at AK that I have never seen before, there are so many corners and areas of the park I have just walked right by before!!
Thats cute that Brandon was enjoying the animal petting zoo area!!
OMG thank you! I wouldn't go that far, but thank you!
AK is such a cool park, I can't believe it took me so long to appreciate it!
Haha, yeah, Brandon probably would have stayed in that petting zoo area much longer if I wasn't getting so bored!
I am glad I am not the only one who notices new things almost every trip to WDW!!!
I like AK, but we can breeze through it in the morning/early afternoon and be done with a possible return before the trips over. We don't always see the shows ( FOTLK & Nemo ). EE is my favorite along with the Safari
Excited to hear about your night at DHS
That's why I love to keep going back to WDW there's always something new to see!
I like that AK is kind of a half day park, but I would really love to go there at night sometime! I'm so upset we're not doing our May trip, because it is open til 7 a few nights, and I was planning to go there til 7, but...oh well! Next year, maybe!
Ugh, sorry you weren't able to sleep well! It's bad enough when I have a night at home that I'm not able to sleep, but if I have one on vacation it seems 10 times worse! Your story about Brandon's snoring make me giggle though - I am super sensitive to sounds (especially at night) and I can
not handle snoring. My grandfather is horrible. When we went to Italy, I stayed in the same room as my grandparents, and I worried for weeks leading up to the trip that I wasn't going to be able to sleep. My grandmother assured me that he had gotten better...not true. When we got to Venice, we had this huge bathroom, and we actually put my grandfathers roll-away bed in the bathroom so we couldn't hear him snore!
Your picture of the AK tree is beautiful! I love how the sky looks.

Glad you got to see the tigers on the trek - I have that scheduled for our upcoming trip and it will be the first time for Miguel and I. I'm worried about the bats, though!
Ugh I'm so awful with Brandon's snoring...at home I can just kick and shove him, and usually if it's really bad, he will go sleep in another room. On weekends I can wear my earplugs and I'm ok, but I can't wear them on nights I have to work, because I'm afraid I won't hear my alarm!
Haha, that's so funny what you did to your grandfather!

I would seriously do the same thing to Brandon if I could. I'm really considering a one bedroom villa for our next trip...maybe OKW or SSR, one of the cheaper DVC resorts, so I can have some quiet when I want to sleep!
Thank you, the sky looked really nice that day, little did I know, it was because it was going to rain later!

Haha, don't worry about the bats, they are behind netting, or something, they can't get you! I just don't even like to look at them, I think they are so creepy! Brandon just tells me they are mice with wings, but...I don't buy it!
I was a couple of updates behind, so let's start with the most important thing. In my best Animal voice, "Me. want. ICECREAMCOOKIE!"

Your photo makes me think driving an hour to MK to get one isn't too ridiculous an idea!
I'm so jealous that you can hold it together enough to take pictures on EE. I have tried. And failed. Several times. Yours are really good!
You hit the tiger gold mine, too...especially Mr. Yawny Stripes! And I'm with you on the bats, too. No thank you very much!
Silly hipsters..I love that you put little asides like that in your report!
Haha, no, driving an hour to MK is definitely NOT a bad idea, especially for an ice cream cookie sandwich.

If I lived that close I'd be there every weekend!
Thank you! I'm surprised I can take pictures on EE too, but to be honest, I only do it during the slower parts!
Awww, I loved the tigers, they were so sweet!
Haha, I noticed so many hipsters in Disney on this trip, they're taking over!
