to use them!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:faint::bitelip::crazy2::faint::bitelip::crazy2:

That is just nuts, what are VIP disney tickets???

She and her kids would get in free and they have what amounts to a fast pass for every ride...even rides that don't have fast passes. It's the pass celebrities get so they don't have to mingle with the common folk.

One of her inlaws has connections and wrangled them for her. I talked to her today...they slept in, are going to see a movie (for the second time...same movie!) and are going to an Angels game tonight.

I told her they should have gotten their fannies out of bed and gone to Disney for the day...even if they left early to get to the game, they would have had an experience that few people ever get.

The last time she went they didn't ride the rides!!! She had no idea what Disney is then and just wandered around looking- despite having VIP tickets that time, too!

I told her to bring the danged things home tomorrow. I'm going to try to figure out if they have an expiration date...if not, my boys and I may go for a 3 day weekend in November or December. Hey, if I don't have to stand in line, what do I care how long the lines would be???

I just can't believe it...I work so hard to give my kids Disney trips, and here she has a dream trip handed to her for free and she doesn't do it!!! This is one for the "life isn't fair" category!

It is always the non Disney people who get them! I know someone who got those too. But I was happy for her because I figured it would help her like DLR more. She really wasn't looking forward to the trip. She did use them and had a great time even when the parks were almost full.

Wow..would she like to pass on her connection to someone worthy :)

I know! When I did my taxes in January and realized we could afford a bonus trip to DLR I begged her to see if her SIL could do anything for me. In my fantasies, we would have had VIP tickets for one day...and I was at least hoping she could get me an insider discount of some sort.

Do ya think my sister would help me out???

When Disney announced the 5-for-3 deal I gave up hoping (and asking) and went ahead and paid for our tickets.

I kind of just wrote it off until June when my niece was going on and on about how they were getting these VIP tickets again. I'll admit I was a little jealous, but I quickly figured whatever. We'd already gone and had a great time, not worth worrying over.

I know I shouldn't feel bad...I'm lucky enough that, despite being a single mom and sole support of my family (and doing that on a teacher's salary), I've been able to take my kids to Disney 4 times. There are lots of folks who would love to be able to go even once, but can't figure out a way to make it work. Despite all that, I'm still bummed that the tickets went to waste.

OMG!!!!! I can't even imagine........some people just don't get it......

+1

... Just wow. I can't imagine being in the vicinity of Disneyland and not running over there as fast as we could, and going on the rides. :confused3

OP, ask your sister to read the back of the passes; they must have something on them to indicate date of use, etc. I really hope she can pass them on to you.

Like wow. That is simply the most stunning thing I have read all day. :sad2: How very, very sad. :sad2::sad1::sad1:

((HUGS)) OP! We hear 'ya! :grouphug:
