I've been so busy since I started my new job in April, that I haven't had a lot of time to jump in on the boards much. I sure miss you guys! I was on the board tonight and checked out some of last year's DIS CON pictures, it sure did bring tears to my eyes. Wish I were coming this year too.
Seems like everyone is really getting excited! I remember last year when we had a mystery attendee, and a "surprise" guest that couldn't make her mind up whether she was coming w/ family, solo, then canceled, then surprised us with her Fairy Godmother's help and got to come anyway
Oh how much I wish I was coming this year. I met so many wonderful people! Ray, I still have the Tinkerbell keychain that you gave me on our last day there. It's showing a little wear, but it's all still in tact.
I want to thank all of you my wonderful friends who has sent post cards and e mail to me thruout this year to me and my girls. They always get a real kick out of them!!
This is truly a bunch of one in a million kind of people.
I'm still loving my job. Besides being a Mom, I never knew that I could be so fulfilled! They have changed my title of Parent Advocate to a Family Support Specialist
Sounds real important
It keeps me really busy, and it's so fulfilling!
I would like to ask you guys one thing though, while you are at WDW, could someone still volunteer to get me a HoopDeeDoo mini menu? I'd love to add it to my scrapbook pages.
I'm calling down to Orlando next week to check and see if they have any Peter Pan Pj's for my little foster son. His Bday was last month and every present he opened he would predict it to be Peter Pan pj's. Wouldn't you know that I can't find any ANYWHERE!! So I'm calling down there to see. I know there is a shop called Tinkerbell Treasures (or something like that) that sells costumes, I'm hoping that they will have some. (Wonder if I could convince DH that I have to go down the personally to pick them up and bring them home
) Hmm, why didn't I think about that before now.
Oh well, you all have a great time and take tons of pictures. I'll try to jump on later this year to check them out.
God Bless and have a dynamic Disney day!!
Love your friend,
Gerri
