We were at WDW October 2, and checked out October 3 to go on the Disney Wonder. My parents, sister and her husband, brother and his wife came along with me, DH, and DD. We stayed at OKW in a Grand Villa which was absolutely beautiful. We ate diiner in the Villa and then headed over to the Yacht Club for our Illuminations Cruise, which I had booked using the tips from this board. My 90 days out was July 4th, so I spent that morning in a hotel room calling for this cruise. It was worth every penny!! Captain Mike did a terrific job, and the view of Illuminations was awesome. It was a perfect way to start our cruise trip--I had just told my family we were going on a pre-cruise cruise, so when we got on board and Capt. Mike told them where we were going, they were so surprised. I can't stress enough how wonderful this cruise was.
We also had breakfast at 1900 Park Fare where the characters made over the one child with 8 adults. We loved the food and the character interaction. Our PS was at 10:05 so the room was getting empty when we left.
The best part of my trip was when my dad (who has never understood my obsession with disney) took me to one side and said "Now I get it--when can we come back."
