Just off The Wonder 7 night Bahama Cruise

the second night was pirate night and there was no band or anything but I found the room itself just very noisy, our server was hard to hear and conversations were more difficult than at Triton's or AP.

I'm sure if there is enough complaints they will put the volume down a bit.

I wouldn't count on it. I've always found the dining rooms extremely noisy. Even the more "acoustic" ones like Triton's or Lumiere's (where there's more carpeting/and soft surfaces).

I've found it especially bad in Animator's (on all the ships) and Parrot Cay (now Carioca's on the Magic)

Sounds like a design flaw in the chairs. I have never heard of kids flipping out of their chairs in all the years I have been on DCL so it really sounds like something with the chairs themselves in this MDR and not so much how the kids are sitting.

Yes, our servers told us that it was happening constantly and that the chairs, though pretty, were poorly designed. Loved the rest of the cruise, though! We were concierge also and found the experience to be unforgettable; we're already booked again for another Merrytime cruise next year :)
