JUST OFF THE MAGIC-- any questions? the magic from a 12 yos veiw...

MISS YOU GUYS!!!

Thanks for the postitive feedback...

I think we lost Christine! CHRISTINE!!!!!! COME BACK TO YOUR LITTLE THREAD HERE!!!

AHHHH i just typed a whole long thing and lost it~! :( :( :(

well i couldnt find the thread for a long time. SORRY GUYS!

Ocean quest was great for me. i watched TV and made movies. didnt really use the computers much. there is also a ship simulator where you drive the boat. VERY cool but it broke after the third day. hopefully it got fixed for the next cruise! i also met a friend in ocean quest. she was wonderful and was there a lot.

swimming- SWIM AT NIGHT! SWIM AT NIGHT! during the day it is crowded. you can barely swim, you just have the like stand it the water. at night they play movies usually. my dad and i practically had the pool do ourselves and watched movies like cinderella, mary poppins, and high school musical while swimming. that was the most enjoyable part of my cruise!

I say if you think your children arre mature enough, give them signout privlages! if they find a friend they can go around the ship with them, or even by theirself if they are comfortable. i was perfectly fine doing that. if you dont feel comfortable, i say give them the privlage and test it once (just signing out, coming back to your room or something) and see how it goes. if they thought it was okay, i would say trust your child and let them keep the privlage. if they dont like it, you can always tell the cast members to take it away!

My best souvineer (spelling...??) thats hard. i bought a DCL shirt that was on sale! a lanyard...i bought a bag with the ropes that sinches up at the top from castaway cay that i LOVE! i also got a castaway cay visor. another free thing--get confetti from the shows (shhhh...they dont know its coming!) and write the show its from on it. i did that, i thought it was kinda cool :) also i did they signature pillowcase! IF YOUR KIDS ARE INTERESTED DO IT! IT TURNS OUT SOOO CUTE! or do it as a surprise :)

a must do would be the shows. also towel folding classes i think. just do whatever you are interested in that you see on the navigator.

i hope that helped!!

<3333 christine

very nice report, Christine

I am sure it will help many people on their future cruises

I KNOW! i remember we would always run into you with your sunglasses and vibrant colored shirts and my mom would be like in the middle of me talking "oh wait! theres kim!" those were the days... :) lol

I guess I missed Kim's vibrant colored shirts and her sunglasses.

Hummmmm - was she trying to hide??? :rotfl:

haha. anyone who sees this thread...MAKE SURE you check out the cruise meets for your cruise. if there isnt one, start one! i wouldve only had one friend. my parents wouldnt have gotten to go to palo (my parents say thank you thank you thank you!!!) and i wouldnt have been as excited as i was :)

By the way-- if your thinking about doing parasailing-- DO IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i loved it so much. i would do it again in a second. i was really scared bnut it was so awesome. its so quiet up there. and you get an amazing veiw. take an underwater camera up, and if you can hold out the camera and take a picture of yourselves. my dad is amazing at taking pictures without look through the len and it turned out REALLY good.

we didnt get to snorkel at st. maarten cause of rain. we did the butterfly island tour. if you are thinking about that, its cool. you stop at some picture stops and a shopping place. you also see a small butterfly farm. unfortunatly, the butterflies didnt like the rain either

at st. thomas we went shopping and also went to coral world and their beach.

NOTE: in st thomas iguanaa are EVERYWHERE. dont let them surprise you. just watch ahead of you. i almost stepped on one double the size of most of the other ones. you wont find them on the beach or inside of course. :)

ill post more if i think of anything else

Wait! I have to hijack the thread again... but I've got nothing to say... Do who wants to be a mousekiteer...

YES... Late night movies... if your older kids find a friend, let them go to a later movie.... it is a lot of fun... I saw Stick It once with PixieDust here and another time with another 12yo diser...

YES... Movies in the Walt Disney theater... they are normally the ones premiering(sp?)

Off to the store!

im going on the cruise july the 22 and im 12 and turning 13 in 2 months after the cruise if my birthdays that close will they still let me in? ive heard that you have to be a month away

I dunno... They will probably let you in on a trial basis and if everything works out you can stay... :confused3 most likely

In St Thomas what was coral world and the beach like?
Christine did coral world... I went to Magen's Bay... The ride up is kind of scary... There is a truck-thing pulling an open-bus kind of thing...AH! Very hilly, lots of fast driving, but it is kind of fun... I kind of freak easily about stuff like that. :scared1:

The beach was really nice and pretty, the people in charge of the excursion were great, and it really wasn't that crowded... I give it a :thumbsup2 .

ok coral world is like an aquarium it takes forever to get there, so not much time was spent there. they have an aquarium and stuff and theres this thing underwater where you like see through windows under water

the beach was nice, not tooo crowded.

this is so so true - was amazed at the iguanas there - I think they count them as part of the population - wouldn't be surprised :confused3

I thought it tasted more like a cross of mushrooms and fish... the taste was only slightly ok, but the texture was squishy. Like mushrooms. Of the things I will absolutely not eat besides a lot of meats, mushrooms and tomatoes are it.

They werent terrible. they were LOADED with garlic cheese and butter. thats all you could taste. i thought the acual snail just was like the texture of scallops. still not my favorite.
