Just off the Dream 5/14-5/18, concierge - questions?

Would not kill them to include a better beer selection, as concierge is not free. Since the idea of the happy hour is meant to make concierge guests happy, the inclusion of higher end beers would be a nice benefit.

I would say ask... and you will get.. maybe not there and then but the next time your there.

Yes they do i had emails at 130 days and got one last week as well.

I am in the UK and never had a phone call but they may do that in the USA, if you however email enquires from 130 days they will know that, I think they will only call the people who have not been in touch.

Hi. Is there pressed coffee in concierge? I drink only iced coffee and would like to take it some time during the day and out in fridge for the following morning or at least have concierge keep it for me.

Yes there coffee/ tea/ hot chocolate machine is industrial coffee shop sized and will do anything. The best drinks on the ship are in there. We were lucky to have room 12012 for 14 nights and our stateroom door backed onto the side door to the CL and that door is next to the food display and the drinks, so we could nip in 7am to 10pm and get what we wanted and be back in our room in a few seconds.

Here's a shore side concierge question...do they reach out to you by email or phone prior to embarkation? We're sailing this fall on our first concierge cruise that I'm trying to keep as a surprise for my wife (she knows we're cruising, just not concierge) and I wasn't sure if they do a courtesy call, etc., prior to sailing that may blow the surprise....

I'm hoping for emails also. DH knows we are sailing, but doesn't know about the Concierge. It will be a surprise for him. Luckily for me, he doesn't ask questions (like what is our room #)

Unless it's recently changed, its a coffee machine with 4 or 5 different beans that are fresh ground as the coffee is made. The captain will often come to the lounge early in the morning for his own coffee.

I asked for a Heineken at embarkation and for the rest of the cruise they had them for me. On occasion I'd even find a couple of them in my fridge.

As DISNEYFANTASY said, just ask and if they have it on ship you'll get it.
