Background. This is our 12th cruise. We have been on all 4 ships. We love the fantasy having sailed it 6 times. I has put back by so many negative reviews and really lowered my expectations for Disney wish.

My overall option is this is a really great ship, that needs to fix a couple things.

Pros:
The obvious most are saying: the Food and the beautiful ship. We loved the atrium. Talked to a lot of CM's and they say it's supposed to feel like the inside of the castle. it was really something to see. And the midnight show on the ceiiing is not to be missed and dont' be afraid to lay down and look up!
The food was top notch. Festival of food is the best ever! and 1923 is a great menu. We enjoyed Frozen and marvel was so so. We did Palo one night and it was great.
Palo changed the theme a bit, so this is all about Beauty and the Beast and not so much just Italy. But really enjoyed it.

The rooms. We really liked our room. The TV on the wall is a bummer as my son in the couch can't see it. And we bumped it walking past it all the time. But there is no room for a swing bar, so i know why they did it, it wont' fit. but for me, watching a movie at night on the big tv was way better than the smaller tv on the counter.

The light switches being in the bathroom. Such a game changer. also the nightlight in the bathroom is great for keeping on all night and being able to see and not bother those sleeping.

Artwork - the characters up and down each set of stairs is great. Very different from some of the others as it's all floor themed.

Elevators - i thought the two sets worked well. We never waited. never had an issue. never was crowded. so missing one set didn't make a diffence at all.

Pools - ok this will be a pain point for others, but i really liked the pools (except the adult pool). the srpead out of kiddie pools is great. keeps a lot of little kids in other spots. you can dunk easily in the two 4 foot pools. were they a bit crowded..yes but i was able to get in and dunk or sit and watch the movie on the edge. The pool in front of the screen was a 2 foot pool and good to sit in. I think having few pools spread it out and avoided kid soup like the fantasy one pool for everyone.
now the adult pool is hot garbage. just a mess. for me- - worthless. so crowded and gross. just bad. the little sitting cold area was nice there. But only can fit like 8 people on each side. so let's say 20-24 people in pool and 16 in the cool sit area...40 adults can enjoy.

Access to bow of ship on deck 6. this is a great treat. my son loved being able to truly go to the bow of the ship.

Wifi - my wife had a zoom meeting and we bought the one day premium. it was flawless. this was castaway cay day. but worked great. it was $36 for one device for the day. but we logged out of the device. and shared it with other devices all day. you just used the same log on and could choose log other device out.

Shows: really liked Disney sea and little mermaid. LM is a total reimagining so very different. Now your normal representation. I really enjoyed this version. Disney Sea was very enjoyable and fun.

Not a pro or a con: the hallways. there really aren't hallways to nowhere. most do make a pretty distinct right then left turn which is very different than the long never ending hallway of rooms.
there was one key door on deck 4 that points to the promenade - however it is a crew only door. A few doors down is a giant brown metal door that looks like a crew door but doesn't say anything at all..that's the door to go to out side it opens then you have the tall glass doors for the promenade.

cons:
Hyperspace lounge. just a big miss. Especially compared to Oga's. you don't feel like you are anywhere but a bar. and the 2 kid drinks are awful. My kids got the oatmilk with blueberry and sherbert - undrinkable. got a refund. when we sat down we really wanted to just leave. the other bars feel so much cooler than this bar. and my drink was not good either. the Lychee something. the menu is vague. doesn't truly say what's in a drink or how it comes. like someone got the smoking drink in a large glass filled with smoke. but on the menu all it says is woodford reserve ---that's it. nothing about being in smoke or cool. the pics with the drink are like star wars artwork.
And as others have said by day 3 and 4 it was walk in. and LOL ...walk out. We had about 5 groups come in during our time for their reservation, sit and then leave. it really is underwhelming.
we did see another table get the $5000 drink. no fanfare other than a crew photo. honestly getting an $11 hippo drink at trader sam's is more exciting. LOL. honestly. it was so lame to watch.

room storage - no drawers.. thats an issue. we did have enough room in closets. but still would prefer more drawers.
Frig in room does not keep beer cold at all. the can is cold. But the inside beer is warm. I ended filling a zip lock bag with ice and putting in the frig with 2 beers a day.

Other than that, the ship was great. Keep your expectations high. Service for us was great.
