Just noticed new Value season

Does any one think that the new Value dates for the deluxe resorts will effect their discounts? I can't believe that I am just now noticing that 7/5-8/24 are now Regular season instead of Value season! I really hope that this doesn't change the discounts available for August. EEEK. Thanks.

Where did you see that? 7/4 - 8/24 is still Value season for all Deluxes (in fact, 7/4 - 10/1 is Value season). Now, for the moderates and value resorts regular season does extend to 8/24 but not with the Deluxes.

That's my time frame for my visit. If I'm remembering correctly, AKL and WL both have those dates as regular season. Some sites are listing 7/5-8/24 as regular season for the other deluxes. But Mousesavers is still saying that it is a value season for CR, GF, Poly etc. Hope they're right.

I got the Contemporary July 23 at value season rates. That is why I choose the Delux over a moderate. It was still regular season at the moderates.

value, moderates, WL and AKL are all considered to be in regular season until 8/24.

All other deluxes start their regular season in July. it's been that way the last few years.

This is what the Disney website has for the deluxe resorts:

Value season for 2003 is 1/1 - 2/12, 7/4 - 10/1, 11/2 - 12/19
Regular season for 2003 is 4/27 - 7/3, 10/2 - 11/1
Peak season for 2003 is 2/13 - 4/26
Holiday season for 2003 is 12/20 - 12/31

the Value resorts:

Value season for 2003 is 1/1 - 2/12, 8/24 - 10/1, 11/2 - 12/19
Regular season for 2003 is 4/27 - 8/23, 10/2 - 11/1
Peak season for 2003 is 2/13 - 4/26

They must have updated their website because when I called in December and got all of the dates for 2003. A supervisor at CRO said that the regular season for AKL and WL went up to 8/24.

Sorry for all of the confusion. I looked on the wdwig website the other day and it had the July and Aug dates as regular season for the deluxe resorts. I will trust the official disney website. I was worried that I wouldn't get to stay at a deluxe this summer. Thanks all!

Shoot, they must have updated their disneyworld.com site since last week, as I looked up the value times for deluxe resorts, and they were exactly the same as the rest of the resorts.

My advice is to make those ressies on the internet now, and take advantage before they change their mind, or realize it was a mistake!
