Just me and three kids? Is it crazy? Give me your best hints/tips!

This is totally preliminary and I floated it past my husband and don't know if it's doable yet or not, but he's attending a conference in August, alone, and I'm thinking about taking the three girl to WDW by myself. The girls will be 15, 8 and 6 at time of travel. At first, I felt like it would be awesome, but now I'm wondering if it will be too difficult with just one parent.

Have you every gone alone with just your kids? How was it? Any tips or tricks? I'm worried, for instance, about exiting the park after wishes and keeping all of us together.

You are fortunate because two kids are older than 7 and one is older than 14. So you will likely not need to worry about who is too young to enter attractions and who is too young to ride alone.

Here is ny suggestion. DON'T try to exit the park after Wishes. Stick around until the masses get out.

It's absolutely doable, especially with kids those ages. I take my 4 kids (11, 9, 6, and 4) to the parks by myself all the time. The only problem for us is that we can't ride some rides due to two of them being under 7 - can't wait until my 6 year old turns 7 in June!

Your 15 year old probably has a phone.. that will help if you need to split up. My older two have phones and I'll let them ride things by themselves while I hang out with my littles somewhere else. I feel a lot more comfortable about that since I know they can just call me if they can't find me.

I totally agree with waiting to leave until after the park clears out after Wishes - we do that even when my husband is with us. However, if you do have to leave right after Wishes, I don't think it'd be too bad. You just hold onto your 6 year old's hand, and have your other two hold hands. Then just arrange to meet at, say, the bag check area if you and your 15 year old get split up on the way out. But if you follow the 15 year old, I can't imagine you'd get split up.

You could also make it a little easier to keep track of everyone (and your littles keep track of you) by wearing coordinating, brightly colored shirts, or wear a distinctive hat or backpack. Also, make sure to point out what CM badges look like and make sure everyone knows to go directly to a CM if they get separated.
