I was just reading the Deb's weekly newsletter, and saw the part about "Just Married" badges from Guest Services.
Has anyone else seen these? We're headed to WDW for our Wedding, and would love to get these. Are they similar to the gigantic birthday pins that they give out?
Thanks!

they are identical to the birthday badges/buttons

they have a bride/groom mickey and minnie on them. when we went, we were told to go guest services at any park. we went and they handed them out to us.

dh rather wear that then his top hat w/ears.

good luck!

Just so you know, my wife and I wore them on our honeymoon in March of 2003. I normally wouldn't wear them (it's a guy thing), but I did and WOW did we get fun little perks.

*Firstly, Casey's hotdog stand will give you a free brownie if they see you wearing it.

*Every cast member at all parks offered to take pictures of us.

*We were pulled from the line at Bug Life (Tough to Be a Bug) movie and placed in the 2 seater seats and we got to go in on the next show with no wait.

*We were put on our very own boat in Pirates of the Caribbean and the boat in front of us was let go beyond to provide space as well as the boat behind was held for an additional 20 seconds or so.

*We were put on our own car at Test Track.

*We were allowed to get IMMEDIATE seating at San Angel Inn even though we did not have a P.S. and there was a 30 minute wait.

Disney really does go out of their way to make you have a memorable time, but you have to wear the badges to let them know. You may never get these perks as it likely depends on CM's but, it CAN happen and SURE did happen to us.

Is there a different badge when celebrating an aniversary? DH and I will be celebrating 5 years in August. We never went on a honeymoon because we had just bought a house with a pool and it was not a warm summer except the week we planned our honeymoon so we cancelled at the last minute and told everyone we were away. We will have DD but still celebrating.

A friend of mine will be honeymooning on the Disney Cruise in January. Do you think I could pick up buttons for her and her husband to wear then when I go to WDW in August? She's been hoping to get the "honeymoon treatment" on the cruise, and I figure this would certainly help!

The buttons we had in April for our anniversary were the same bride and groom Mickey and Minnie.

Does anyone know if there is a way or place to buy the badge before getting to Disney? :confused3

You will need someone who is going to pick you up a couple. They are not for sale.
