Just made reservations for the July 6 Typhoon Lagoon Beach bash! no water park ticket needed

So excited that I was able to get a reservation!
more excited that I found out that you don't need to get a ticket to get in the water park if you arrive at 830 Pm!
we have the gold pass so no water park for us since we usually like to grill next to the quite pool at the BW on our pool days, looking forward to it , yay

We signed up yesterday and will be there on the 6th. We're pretty excited too as we haven't been to a water park in forever!

We are also looking forward to the party on the 6th . . . and the 13th! We missed one of the parties last summer by 1 week, so we're making up for it . We're still planning on going to BB once or twice during our stay, as well, to get our value out of our Platinum Plus renewals. Unfortunately, the Gold pass does not currently work with the times we have to travel.

this is going to be our first time going, what should we expect other than when you go during normal hours?
what type of snacks and drinks do they offer ? what should we take?

I think the party may have started earlier last year. As far as what to take, I am assuming that towels will be provided. We'll have our Magic Bands for purchases. Have a great time! Hopefully the weather will cooperate!

We went last year and had sooo much fun! I believe we were able to get in at 7pm last year, and we went right to Crush n Gusher because that wouldn't be open during the party. After we all rode, we headed over and grabbed some lounge chairs by the wave pool and went on our way. My kids had a blast dancing, participating in contests, lazy river and the slides... I hope you all have as much fun as we did last year

The day we're going, TL closes at 5pm. That's a long time between park closure and start of beach bash. I'm hoping they let us in before 8:30p.

That is usual for the water parks.

Probably not. Last year they had a master list of names to check. Just make sure you bring your DVC card and photo ID.
