Hey there. I grew up in So. Cal with my parents going to Disneyland who grew up in the 1960's going to Disneyland. I had never been to Disney World or even back to Disneyland in 2 decades after moving to Kentucky. Then my daughter was born in 2009. We've already been to "The World" 3 times in less than 2 years.

I am eating up all the info I can get as my 3 year old loves Princesses and my wife and I are foodies. It's maybe the one place that as a Dad I feel able to reconnect with my childhood memories and build with my daughter.

I look forward to chatting with y'all and plan on possibly seeing some of you when we head back the week before Christmas (already feels like a mistake going that week and not a week earlier). To many memories, Thanks for creating a wonderful board.

Moved from California in 1991 to Mason Co. (Maysville) finished HS there, Went to College and lived in Lexington till about 2002 and moved to Bowling Green, Ky. after. So basically I live in a suburb of Nashville by WKU.

It's sort of a joke. Nashville has moved so far north now. It takes me 45 minutes to be downtown. In most cities that's classified a suburb. So, not really a suburb but, seems BG is the town many escape to. Robert Plant has a house in Nashville but he seems to be here quite a bit because of the cool stuff in town.

I assume you're near Ft. Campbell?

Yup and BG will only be 30 minutes from the new Dollywood project. It's not Disney but it'll be good in a pinch.
