In case there is a price increase next week, thought I'd go ahead and get these for June trip. CC I charged to just ended it's billing cycle yesterday, so pmt won't be due until May 13, so that's good. Also noted that the return policy for Connections is 90 days, which takes me up to our June departure date. It says you can return things undamaged, by certified mail, and get a full refund. Can't get that refund policy if you buy directly from Disney. Didn't know if that information might be useful to anyone else, but the refund policy made it easier to order today. I am very risk averse and although I can't imagine not going, it's nice to know I have options "just in case."
I'll post again and let everyone know how quickly they arrive and whether there are any problems with my credit card charge. BTW, joined through mypoints to get points and a $25 gas card. Got my membership number immediately and ordered online. Their site was a terribly slow at first, but I got out and went back in and it seemed to be working fine the second time.
Update! Just got a call from my credit card office saying that connections charged me the correct amount yesterday and again today. She said it's not uncommon for charges to be submitted electronically twice, because the vendor might not get the confirmation or whatever, but that they have to send the back up in 10 days, and if they don't send two copies, it won't go on my bill twice. She made a note on my account that it should only be there once. I told her I was glad they were flagging unusual activity and I appreciated her calling. I have to say, I wasn't surprised in the least, and it won't be an issue for me unless it gets annoying to correct. I would warn people, however, not to use a debit card with Connections. I would be distressed if they hit my checking account twice!
