Just in- Carlie Brucia's killer sentenced to death.

I read today that he pleaded to be spared the death penalty.. Saying something about sparing him for the sake of HIS family.. PUUULease

I think that most of the posters here, including myself, are in full support of the death penalty for this animal who committed this heinous crime. I would like to revisit these boards however in 15 years or so, after he has exhausted his appeals and then see what the sentiment is. I am guessing I am going to read things like, "he has turned his life around", "he is repentent", "he wrote a children's book"......

And, in answer to Dawn's post you'll never hear me saying that kind of thing. I personally do not care if he turns his life around in 10, 20, 40 years. I will not forget that Carlie never had a chance to HAVE a life, let alone how she died.

my daughter was the same age as Carlie when this piece of **** abducted her. I had to make the hard decision to make her watch that tape from the car wash to educate her as to what to do in that situation. plus, it happened in a city that we visit a lot. a little innocence lost here and an innocent life lost there. I hope he doesn't make it to the needle, and the general population makes him feel pain before they kill him.

I guess we've grown civilized here, I just remember Ted Bundy getting Ole Sparky up in Starke.

This low life needs to be killed, and it will be done before his appeals get out, why? Because baby rapers and child killers do terrible among the general population of a prison. They are considered the lowest of the low, Cockroaches. he'll be someone's Girlfriend for protection,and then they'll sell the privlidge of shanking him in the shower. I think, he'll probably only last 3-5 years in prison before you hear that he's been killed.

I've always thought I was anti-death penalty but listening to the details of the kidnapping/rape and murder of 11 year old Carlie Brucia I want him to die for what he's did to her, It was horrific, just plain evil, that poor little girl.

I've always though I was against it too but more and more these days I hear stories that are so horrific, it makes me want to change my stance.

I support the death penalty just to make sure that guys like this never have the chance to do such horrible things again. However, I do believe that being locked up for all time is a much worse punishment, especially once the prison population gets a hold of him.
