The judge will have the final say within the hour. Update- Judge spared his life and sentenced him to life in prison without possibility of parole for the kidnapping and assalt. But he sentenced him to death for the rape and murder.

She was the 11 year old girl from Sarasota Florida, her abduction was captured on video tape.

I've always thought I was anti-death penalty but listening to the details of the kidnapping/rape and murder of 11 year old Carlie Brucia I want him to die for what he's did to her, It was horrific, just plain evil, that poor little girl.

It was really hard to listen to the details of what he did to Carlie, just so evil. It was the detais though that swayed me to agree with the ultimate sentence, he's just too evil to deserve to live.

He didn't spare his life he senetenced him to death for the rape and murder. It was a little confusing though because he first sentenced him to life without parole for the kidnap and murder.

What a sicko! I cannot believe this system sometimes. I will tell you, without a doubt, if this happened to my child, he would not need to have the court impose his death sentence.

I hate that he even gets to live through all the appeals. He admitted what he did, he should be put to death today.

Yes, but on the other hand why not give some other prisoners the opportunity to express their views on what he did, and then execute what's left?

If it were up to me I'd have him tortured, raped and killed just like he did to poor Carlie. Like Miss Jasmine said lethal injection is just too good for him.
