Just how hot is it in July at The Fort?

and SUNSCREEN!!!! Slather yourselves in it, repeat as necessary!!!

Don't forget your feet and ears!!!

Don't forget in the summer you must dodge the touring groups from Brazil.

(they are however, hilarious to watch)

OH yeah!!! If you see someone holding up a big flag or phallic (sp?) shaped balloon, go the other way!!! But, only after you make fun of the DAs in heels... :rotfl::rotfl:

It is so hot in Palm hot that when Betty Ford visited Orlando, she said, "Screw it, open the bar. Drinks for everybody”

It is so hot, the trees whistle for dogs.

It is so hot, you'll experience condensation on your butt from the hot water in the toilet bowl.

It is so hot you will break a sweat the instant you step outside at 7: a.m.

It is so hot, I once saw a Floridian get down on his knees and pray, "I wish it would rain - not so much for me, cuz I've seen it -- but for my 7-year-old."

Been there in July and have had a great time despite the crowds and heat, just remember to pay attention to the young ones and get them out of the parks when they have had enough; the biggest negative was seeing parents getting angry at cranky kids who had had too much heat.

We've been to Disney in Jan, Feb,Sept and October, but never the summer. I'm thinking about surprising our 10 year old for a trip to The Fort during the week of her birthday in July. Obviously we would use the water parks and the pool at the campground, but does it get unbearable? Would it be comparable to our trip in September? That was pretty hot and humid. Not worried about nights as the camper has air, but is it too hot to walk the parks?
Thanks, missing The Fort soooo much:guilty:

We were there the end of july 09 and it was 95" or hotter the 12 days we stayed

We tent camped last July with no A/C and we had a perfectly nice time. I will admit though that July is probably my least favorite time of the year to go. Like I said, we had fun, but I greatly prefer other times of the year, like now for instance. Nonetheless, it is very possible to have a great time. Just know and accept that it will be hot and crowded and you'll be fine.

Did the college program in the fall of 96. Went back to work in the Magic Kingdom the following summer for the month of July. Swore I'd never ever ever go back to FL again in the summer. SO SO crowded and so freaking hot. It was awful. I am from the South so I thought I knew what heat was. Wrong.

Ick.

Now, Fall...ahhhh....good times, good times!
