Here is some information that I found interesting. The number of points is from the 2006 annual budgets posted by members on this board. The cost per point comes from a table that was posted on this board. These appear to be conservative figures since they do not reflect price increases. The number of members is from March 8, 2005 SSR documents I received at closing. Someone may have better figures. I could not find figures on Vero. Someone may have more current information on SSR. I could not find a good way to load a table so sorry about the format:

..........#.of points....Original..........Estimated.........# of.......Points/
..........................price per pt......selling price....members.....members
BW.......4,888,860......$62.75.......$306,775,965...19,421..........252
BCV.....3,027,053.........80.00........242,164,240....10,796.........280
HHI......1,368,967........62.75..........85,902,679.....4,889.........280
VWL.....1,961,985........72.00..........141,262,920...7,690.........255
OKW....7,674,838.........51.00........391,416,738....26,709........287
SSR.....7,129,332.........84.00........598,863,888....13,535.........?
Vero.........?.................62.75.............?............. 4,968.........?

Total.....................................$1,766,386,430....88,008

I believe that DVC has over 100, 000 members now. So from March 8, 2005 to now membership went from 88,008 to over 100,000. I did not calculate the points/members for SSR since the points outstanding are from the 2006 budget and the number of members is from March 8, 2005. If anyone has more accurate information feel free to post it. I believe that the above numbers are not materially mistated.

Do you happen to have the average resale price per point in each of the DVC resorts? :sunny:

No this is all the information I have. Maybe you can get a feeling about resales from someone at the timeshare store and look at their listings.

The OKW price can also be $49.00 (pre construction price with 10 years free passes and free dues for two years (or until completion of OKW). Now that's a great price!

If this is accurate (and I have no reason to believe it is not), then SSR IS nearly sold out, according to figures from my guide. She told me (last wk) that they only have approx 60,000 Dec UY points, 12,000 Mar UY and 15,000 Apr UY left to sell. If that is also accurate, SSR is 99% sold - can this be possible?

These numbers were from the 2006 budget done in December 2005. There are more SSR points outstanding and available now since these numbers did not reflect the new buildings.

That would just make the percentage sold higher, not lower, as we're talking "remaining points". I don't know if there are more buildings not yet being sold, though - additions there if significant could decrease total percentage of sold.

I am not sure if those numbers included any or all of the final phase buildings. We should get a more accurate piture of SSR when the 2007 budget numbers are released. I know that the non SSR numbers are accurate.

The 2007 budget for SSR is based upon 9,804,870 points.
