Several years ago I bought some old drapes from MouseSurplus that were suppose to have hung at Dixie Landings. I liked the old west theme and my DH is a cartographer so we loved the maps too! My intent was to hang them in my Disney themed office, but that never happened. Well, when we got our new trailer, my DS's only complaint was that he kicked the mini blinds all night long and it kept waking him up. I pulled out those old drapes and made him a curtain so he could raise up his blinds at night and still have privacy. I loved the way it looked so I wanted something for my and DH's sleeping area too! So I made us the pillows in the picture. Then, since I was on a creative roll, I picked up a cheap Mickey & Minnie at Walgreens and proceeded to remove their existing outfits and make my DS custom Fort Wilderness Mickey & Minnie! They were so much fun. DS can't wait to bring them along on our first trip to the Fort! Another cool thing is that my DS had an old Cowboy Mickey comforter that he used during his Woody from Toy Story phase and I found that and added that to his bunk too.
