Don't you just LOVE when you find something in the dollar bin that completely matches something else you are already doing?

This is the inspiration fabric I'm using in my office / scraproom /guestroom makeover. Its expensive even on 50% off sale at Joann's, so I'm using it only where its going to count the most.

Well, I'm browsing around Michael's yesterday with my coupons of course, and what do I find in the $1 bins but a line of products called Poolside that is a dead on match!!! I picked up 2 square 6" melamine plates & a set of 8 coasters. Wasn't sure what I was going to do with them. Maybe make a frame or a bulletin board. But they look great even if I just decide to stick them to the wall as accent art!!! $3 total WOOHOO!!!!

They had paper napkins & a journal book too. Hmmm. Should I go back & buy more?

Love the fabric! I'd be putting that on everything - chair seats, drapes, lamp shades (well that might be a challenge unless they had straight sides), around the pencil holders . . .

LOL, thanks, and we've got same ideas I see. I plan to recover 2 bolster pillows, cover my Cricut Expression, a valance, OF COURSE the pencil holder, and the lids to some storage bankers boxes. I splurged for an extra yard incase I'm inspired more after.

Just one of those things I saw, LOVED, then couldn't find anything else that made me as happy.
I'm using a sage green as other fabric. Accenting in blues & greens. Room as white walls and blue carpeting. Beech furniture with some small black accents from Ikea.

As I'm alone this year, its a slow process in middle of everything else going on. When its eventually done, I'll post some photos.
